🇮🇹 Abbiamo tracciato una rotta ambiziosa, affrontando mari sconosciuti con il coraggio di chi non si ferma davanti a nessun limite. Ogni onda solcata ha raccontato di sfide affrontate con determinazione, ogni miglio percorso ha portato con sé emozioni, conquiste e un grande insegnamento: non importa quanto il viaggio sia complesso, ciò che conta è lo spirito con cui lo si affronta.
Con il progetto “Sailing into the Future. Together” abbiamo condiviso una visione: quella di andare oltre. Ogni vela spiegata è stata il simbolo della nostra forza collettiva, un modo per dimostrare che insieme possiamo raggiungere orizzonti sempre nuovi.
Abbiamo costruito qualcosa di grande: un viaggio che lascia un’eredità fatta di impegno, sostenibilità e passione per il futuro.
Grazie ad Alberto Bona e grazie a tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile questa esperienza straordinaria.

Every wave we navigated told a story of challenges faced with determination; every mile sailed carried emotions, achievements and a profound lesson: no matter how complex the journey, what truly matters is the spirit with which it is undertaken.
With the project Sailing into the Future. Together we shared a vision: the ambition to go beyond. Every unfurled sail became a symbol of our collective strength, a way to show that, together, we can reach ever-new horizons.
We have built something remarkable: a journey that leaves behind a legacy of commitment, sustainability and passion for the future.

🇮🇹Oggi, 3 dicembre, è la Giornata internazionale delle persone con disabilità. Da tre anni in IBSA Group ci impegniamo ogni giorno per rendere lo sport della vela un’esperienza aperta a tutti. Con il progetto Sailing into the Future. Together, infatti, abbiamo portato la vela inclusiva in tutto il mondo, offrendo a persone con disabilità di vivere l’emozione della vela dando loro la possibilità di credere nelle proprie capacità e di superare i limiti. Dal 2022 a oggi abbiamo attivato progetti con l’Associazione Velabili presso il Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano (Svizzera), con lo Yacht Club Punta Ala e la FIV - Federazione Italiana Vela (Italia), con la Société des Régates d'Antibes (Francia), con la E.V.A Escuela de Vela Adaptada Sitges (Spagna) e con l’Associazione Sail To Prevail - The National Disabled Sailing Program (USA).

🇬🇧Today, December 3, is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. For three years at IBSA Group we have been committed every day to making the sport of sailing an experience open to all. With the project Sailing into the Future. Together, in fact, we brought inclusive sailing around the world, offering people with disabilities the chance to experience the thrill of sailing, while giving them the opportunity to believe in their own abilities and overcome their limits. Since 2022, we have implemented projects with the Associazione Velabili at the Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano (Switzerland), the Yacht Club Punta Ala and FIV – Federazione Italiana Vela (Italy), the Societè des Regates d’Antibes (France), the E.v.a. Escuela de Vela Adaptada Sitges (Spain) and with the organisation Sail to Prevail (USA).

🇮🇹 Tre anni di navigazione, dieci regate, cinque traversate dell’Atlantico: si chiude così la parte sportiva del progetto “Sailing into the Future. Together”, che ha unito IBSA e lo skipper Alberto Bona in un’avventura straordinaria.
Dalla Route du Rhum 2022 al titolo di campione di classe 2023, ogni risultato ha incarnato passione, determinazione e coraggio.
Questo progetto è stato ben più di una competizione sportiva: è stato un mezzo per raccontare i valori di IBSA, unendo l’impegno per la sostenibilità e la crescita personale al desiderio di superare ogni ostacolo con perseveranza e visione. Nei prossimi anni, infatti, proseguirà l’impegno di IBSA nella vela inclusiva, con progetti per persone con disabilità: un viaggio verso nuovi orizzonti, che porta avanti i valori fondanti del progetto.

🇬🇧 Three years of sailing, ten races, five Atlantic crossings: the sporting chapter of the project Sailing into the Future. Together – which brought together IBSA and skipper Alberto Bona on an extraordinary adventure – has come to an end.
From the Route du Rhum in 2022 to the class champion title in 2023, every achievement has embodied passion, determination and courage.
This project was much more than a sporting competition: it was a means to tell IBSA’s values, combining commitment to sustainability and personal growth with the desire to overcome every obstacle with perseverance and vision. In the coming years, in fact, IBSA’s commitment to inclusive sailing will continue, with further projects designed for people with disabilities: a journey towards new horizons, that carries forward the foundational values of the project.

🇮🇹 La CIC Normandy Channel Race è stata un'avventura ricca di passione e soddisfazioni per Alberto Bona e il co-skipper Alberto Riva - Navigatore sul Class40 IBSA. In questo video i due navigatori oceanici ci portano per mano nei passaggi più significativi di questa regata, con grande professionalità e una sana dose di ironia.

🇬🇧 The CIC Normandy Channel Race was an adventure full of passion and satisfaction for Alberto Bona and co-skipper Alberto Riva on the Class40 IBSA. In this video, the two ocean sailors take us by the hand through the most significant phases of this regatta, with great professionalism and a healthy dose of irony.

🇮🇹 Il 31 agosto e 1 settembre 2024 si è svolta la tradizionale regata di fine estate del Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano, ribattezzata “Coppa IBSA” dalla scorsa edizione. Due giornate di regate per velisti di ogni età, provenienti da circoli ticinesi e svizzeri: dai giovani skipper a bordo degli Optimist, ai naviganti più esperti sui Laser ILCA, fino agli atleti dell'Associazione Velabili a bordo delle Hansa303 (imbarcazioni progettate per garantire una navigazione sicura e accessibile alle persone con disabilità). L'occasione perfetta per riaffermare l'impegno di IBSA per l'inclusione e la sostenibilità, con uno spirito competitivo ma inclusivo.

🇬🇧 On 31 August and 1 September 2024, the traditional end-of-summer regatta of the Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano took place, renamed “Coppa IBSA” since the last edition. Two days of regattas attended by sailors of all ages, from several Ticino and Swiss clubs: from young skippers on Optimists, to the most experienced sailors on Laser/ILCAs, up to the athletes of the Associazione Velabili on board the Hansa303s (boats designed to ensure a safe and accessible navigation to people with disabilities). The perfect opportunity to reaffirm IBSA's commitment to inclusion and sustainability, with a competitive yet inclusive spirit.

🇮🇹 La Transat Québec Saint-Malo è stata eccezionale per diversi motivi, tra cui gli incontri ravvicinati con la fauna marina. Gli skipper erano stati istruiti dagli organizzatori, ma era difficile immaginare quello che sarebbe successo. Alberto Bona e il team del Class40 IBSA hanno infatti testimoniato la presenza di decine di balene pilota in prossimità della Groenlandia e diversi capodogli nel canale della Manica. Incontri emozionanti e indimenticabili, che riportano la vela alla sua essenza, ovvero la relazione con la natura.

🇬🇧 The Transat Québec Saint-Malo was exceptional for several reasons, including the close encounters with marine wildlife. The skippers had been briefed by the organisers, but it was difficult to imagine what would happen. Alberto Bona and the crew of the Class40 IBSA, in fact, witnessed the presence of dozens of pilot whales near Greenland and several s***m whales in the English Channel: exciting and unforgettable encounters, which bring sailing back to its essence, that is, the relationship with nature.

🇮🇹 Un’impresa da ricordare: la Transat Québec Saint-Malo è stata una regata avvincente, intrisa di colpi di scena e di risvolti emozionanti. Dalle strategie per sfruttare il meteo, passando per gli incontri con le balene nei mari del Nord, fino all’appassionante volata finale verso il traguardo. È stato un piacere seguirla da lontano, e sicuramente è stata una soddisfazione condurre il Class40 IBSA a destinazione per Alberto Bona, Pablo Santurde e Luca Rosetti Navigatore

🇬🇧 A feat to remember: the Transat Québec Saint-Malo was an enthralling race, full of exciting twists and turns. From the strategies to exploit the weather, to the encounters with the whales in the North Sea, to the thrilling final sprint to the finish line. It was a pleasure to follow it from afar, as it was definitely satisfying for Alberto Bona, Pablo Santurde and Luca Rosetti to lead the Class40 IBSA to its destination.
