I’m 42 pounds lighter than I was in my 20s.

And I remember exactly how that felt—
heavy
uncomfortable
unattractive
like it was never going to change

So when people tell me they “lack motivation”…
I don’t buy it.

Because I’m not motivated either.

Motivation comes and goes.
And if you rely on it, so will your results.

The real problem?
You’re making decisions based on how you feel.

And your feelings will talk you out of everything.

You don’t get results by feeling like it.
You get results by doing it anyway.

At some point, you have to decide—
are you going to keep waiting to feel ready…
or are you going to start acting like the person you say you want to become?

Because that version of you?
She doesn’t rely on motivation.

She follows through.

Calorie deficit should be done intentionally and with a plan. Cardio is used as a tool in this phase.

It all depends on how long you have been in a calorie deficit for: years or months?

Now, if you come to me like my client, Julie, who is eating 3500 cal a day I have her in a calorie deficit eating healthy food, which she struggled to even eat 2000 cal with healthy food.

Personally, I had to heal my body from the trauma of under eating many years.

This took time, patience and trust!

I had body dysmorphia.
Years of bad habits with binging and purging.

I got great results.
And now at 54 almost 55. I’m extremely happy with the lean muscle that I have and I’m now just protecting it so I don’t lose it.

Here’s the great news if I can do this, so can you!

Your journey is going to be a little different than mine. It could take you less time or it could take you more time.

now you could already be in the gym lifting, but just not seeing the results that you want and that could very well be from not eating the appropriate amount of food and or protein.

Or you could just be putting everything off and just waiting for the lippo fairy to come in the night!

My final words on this I believe in you.
It’s actually very simple, but it’s not easy.

Are you ready to commit to yourself for 6 months?

Are you for or against conventional deadlifting?

Swipe through these photos, and you’ll see more than just physical changes—you’ll see a woman searching for herself.

➡️ 19-year-old me: 35-40 lbs overweight, painfully self-conscious, desperate to fit in, seeking validation anywhere I could find it.

➡️ Engaged in college: I couldn’t believe someone actually wanted to marry me. My self-worth was so low, I probably would have married anyone just to feel loved. (He was a good man, but I was lost.)

➡️ A personal trainer who didn’t look the part: I was coaching others, yet I was struggling with my own body image. Thick, uncomfortable, and still not confident.

➡️ Post-divorce & breast reduction: Starting to come into my own. Leaning down a little, feeling more like me, but still not quite there.

➡️ Age 40—my first figure competition: Trapped in a volatile marriage to an addict, but this competition saved me. The people I surrounded myself with pushed me to do it, and I started to find my strength again.

➡️ 40s transformation: I made a promise to myself—every birthday, I would be better than the year before. Stronger. Leaner. More confident.

➡️ Today, 53 (almost 54!): I have never looked—or FELT—better in my life. I am proof that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.

If you’re feeling lost, stuck, or like you’ll never love the woman in the mirror, I’m here to tell you—you can. You will. And I’m here to help you do it.

Who else is making their next birthday their best one yet? Drop a 🔥 if you’re in!”

If a stranger offers their opinion without you asking, do you take it with kindness or do you feel attacked?
