CHAMPIONS ! After a semi final at Pock, and a Plate Win at Bournemouth, we have our first win of the season. Some really good sevens on Saturday from great opposition took some overcoming, but we got it over the line in a 22-7 final win. Lots of photos to follow…

Out captain is back….6”4, silky smooth, unbelievable aerial skills and hits like a train can’t wait to see Tomas Phipps back out there with us this weekend, VAMOS!

The squad to take on rugby fest Billingham Rugby Club tomorrow. Some huge boosts in this squad 4 great debutants, Harry Mayes beings his current form from the Navy, and finally the return of our club co-captain Tomas Phipps brings energy, leadership and size to the squad. Saturday will be a great test for our strong squad, we’re looking king forward to getting going.

The last post before the squad reveal for Rugby Fest. The mercurial Eldon Myers finally gets a cougar shirt on this weekend, and the excitement is huge, he is an absolute game changer, adding huge 7s experience to the squad.

Our Squad this Saturday see’s a couple of Debutsnts enter the cougar ranks, our 89th player is Jon Magrin. Jon brings a wealth of experience from professional RL and huge power to the exciting squad.

This Saturday we head to what many of our players call home, Billingham Rugby Club to play Rugby Fest. This should be a great show of elite 7s in the North East, and will see us give out more exciting debuts taking us past 90 players to play for the Cougars.

Best of luck to our Royal Navy representatives this weekend at big day for the lads down there with a strong squad, after helping us take the Challenge Plate home last week at Bournemouth
