The biggest irony 👇🏼
wellness culture markets itself as care (caring for your body, your health etc)
BUT
The aesthetic side of it is driving one of the most disposable consumption cycles going on right now. The one that thing that is marketed as care is actually costing the home literally all of us depend on 🌏
It’s ok to repeat outfits
It’s ok to not having matching bed sheets
It’s ok to have a 10 year old toaster
It’s ok to not want to spend endless money on cute stuff that’s gonna end up in landfill anyway

One for the girlies that have been gymming for a little while ✨
I found this transition really difficult because it seemed that “advanced” was doing things precisely, but for me, it’s been the complete opposite. As the years went by, I didn’t want the gym to be my personality
Things change.
Specially if you got into things when you were younger, the capacity you have now is probably very different 💛
It’s not easy to let go off a lot of these thoughts
And I think that instead of assuming that these thoughts will just go away, we can get curious about them so we can learn to respond to them in supportive ways
Think about the last time you zoomed into a body part you don’t like
👉🏽 what would it look like to turn your attention to parts of you that you do like? What would you focus on? (Your hair, your smile, your eyes, arms etc)
👉🏽 what would it look like to focus on who you are? What do you like about yourself? How adventurous you are? How kind you are? What comes to mind
Xx
