Collierville High School Dragons Baseball

This Labor Day weekend has been a labor of love for the boys that volunteered, parents that gave of their time and especially our new Booster Club President Jaafar Gassid.

It is always so much more than baseball and this weekend proved that! I wont go in to all the difficult details, but what is important to note… is that more than 850 members of the community (and beyond) supported our baseball team! We are so thankful for you your patience this weekend!

This morning was more than just a breakfast—it was a moment to reflect on the incredible journey our senior boys have taken together. As they sat around the table, it was clear how much they’ve grown—not just as athletes, but as young men.

These boys have shared countless memories on the field, and as they begin their final year, the bonds they’ve forged through hard work, dedication, and a love for the game are stronger than ever

2025 is not just another year—it’s their year. A year to leave everything on the field and to cherish every moment with their baseball family. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the ones still to come. Let’s make this season unforgettable.

It was another amazing night at Patriot Bank Park.

The Dragon Family welcomed former Dragon & MLB player Zack Cozart home. He spoke to the players, threw out the first pitch and his former coach, Jeff Hopkins, current head coach Jeff Munier and Brandtown USA co-owner Paul Childers presented him a custom made Mitchell Bat Co. bat. This bat will be signed & proceeds donated to win this bat will go directly to an organization near & dear to the Cozart’s family’s heart, Autism Awareness.

We played Cozart trivia between innings, enjoyed Chill Frozen Treats and Sweets, rocked out & watched baseball!

To top it off, the Dragons came away with a win!

Join us for Zack Cozart night, Friday April 26th, as we welcome back one of our own.

After playing at Collierville High School, Zach was a second round draft pick out of Ole Miss and spent nine years in the MLB with the Cincinnati Reds and the Los Angeles Angels.

Don’t miss the first pitch right before the game from Zack and his family!

During the game he will also be on hand for autographs 🖊️
