Our team will be looking to add to our team for the upcoming fall/winter season and beyond. We are specifically looking for a good ball handler that can control the speed of the game, someone that is a leader and always thinks “TEAM BEFORE ME”.

The requirements are that you must be a girl that will be in the 5th grade during the 23-24 school year. You must have an address that requires you to attend a school that feeds into Gardendale High School.

If you have any questions you can message us or you can contact the head coach directly.

Kelly Ingram

To end our “highlight player of the week” for this year we saved the best for last. #12 Skylar “Skybaby” Ingram is a lot more to us that just a forward to our team. She directs traffic on the court, she is a leader on the court and off the court in our community. It’s tough being a coaches daughter but she also makes coaching the most enjoyable part of our day and she also makes it easy. Our favorite trait is that she loves BIG but competes HARD. She plays very competitive travel ball with her Birmingham Bolts team and there are many days she practices and/or plays with both teams in the same day. Her future is very bright and success is all over her future. We love you Skybaby and you are very special to us. Continue to be your beautiful self

Highlighted player of the week:
#22 Emery Smith
Plays the 2 and 3 positions
Emery “Speed” Smith is the fastest kid around these parts, so don’t get your hopes up if you break away, because this kid will catch up! Her quickness on defense has helped us all season, shutting down girls at the top of the key. Emery has an awesome work ethic and loves to compete. Keep putting in the work kid! We ❤️ you Emery!

Highlighted player of the week:
#5 Kensley Swanigan
Positions 3 and 4
Kensley got a late start to basketball but you wouldn’t believe it by watching her play. She has worked so hard to “catch up” and her intelligent little self is always asking questions and figuring out plays to outsmart our opponents. Kensley has improved at an amazing rate and truly played locked down defense this season! Can’t wait to see you grow even more kiddo!
We ❤️ you Kens!

We have done it again!! League and post tournament CHAMPIONS!
We asked these girls to empty their tanks, come together and have fun, and that they did! PROUD is an understatement. 🚀🏀 🥇
They have represented our town and the game of basketball in a special way.

28-2 first game! Waiting to see who we play in Championship!

First game at 6:30, if all goes well Championship at 8:30

❤️We move on to tomorrow to play at 6:30, if we win that we play for Championship at 8:30.
We ❤️ 🏀

We got a hot ❤️valentines❤️date tonight!
First round of Post Season Tournament
⏰ 6:30
📍Pizitz Middle School
🆚 Homewood Red

Got the win we needed today to make us 1st place for regular season; also making us seeded 1st for the end of season tournament! 🏀🚀
We will start tournament play on Tuesday

Last regular season game today! Tournament begins next week 🚀🏀

Highlighted player of the week:
#00 Briley Aguirre
Point guard
Briley is no doubt one of the quickest, most developed ball handlers in the league! You better not take your eye off the ball, because before you know it, this thief in the night, named Briley, will already have it down the court for 2 points. She carries a lot of weight on her shoulders to perform, and handle the ball, all while getting bumps and bruises, but she does it all for her team! We love you Briley! ❤️

(Forgot to post last week so we will have two this week)
Highlighted player of the week:
#9 Chelsee Williams
4 and 5 position
Chelsee may be a sweetheart off the court, but come time to tip off, she does not play. She holds that paint down, and if you come in there trying to score, you won’t do it again! She truly has the kindest heart, and is an amazing teammate and works her b***y off every practice and game. We love you Chelsee!

It was a great night putting in work with our middle and high school girls. Thank you coach Holly Berry for working them hard! This is where building this program starts!

Took a hard lose today; many things just didn’t go our way, but bottom line is we got outplayed. We took one to the chin, but that’s ok because sometimes we need a good L to remember we can’t get complacent. It’s time to get back to work and continue to improve our game! 🚀🏀

We’re on a mission today! 🚀🏀

Our highlighted player this week is:
Marlie Gooch #3
She plays the 2,3 and when needed the 4 position

Marlie has the sweetest soul, but don’t let that cute little face fool you, she wants to win and will give all she’s got to prove that; just come see her red face after every practice and game. Marlie has been putting in the hours to improve her whole game and it’s showing each and every week. Her sweet, silly personality keeps us laughing; we love you Marlie Gooch!

HARD fought win against a great Mountain Brook team. We asked the girls to empty the tank and they did; couldn’t be more proud!

3-0, putting up 102 points in 3 games!
Next week we play Saturday at 7:15 pm and Sunday at 2:00

Down 4-14 in the 3rd we told the girls it’s not over until that final second. They were down and tired; we asked them to give us everything they had left in their tanks and they did just that. Came back and WON!! OTM CHAMPIONS!!!
Coach CJ and Coach Ingram are proud beyond words of you girls! And thank you parents for all your support this season , it has been an absolute blast.
