Congratulations to our Laney girl! While we were out enjoying 5 softball friendlies this weekend, this girl traveled to Iowa for wrestling nationals.

Showing out on the mat..We now have a 3rd place All-American wrestler on our team!! 💪🏅

Proud of you Laney and can't wait to hear all about it! 🤼‍♀️

Cons:
🌬 Wind...so much wind
🌧 Rain...you know the slow annoying rain that picks up, slows down, picks back up...not enough to stop the game but enough to really be miserable
🥶 Throw in bone chilling cold
🫣 So many defensive errors that we need to clean up

Pros:
🔁 Reps! Reps! Reps!
💪 Lots of Friends, Finesse, and familiar faces!
🎯 Respecting arms early in the season! 4 pitchers throwing full hour and 20 min games with no one over 100 pitches in a game! Only 1 with over 100 pitches all weekend (130)! 🎯 Pitchers only giving up 10 total walks combined over 5 games!
🔥 Hitting...Wow, we came to hit!...team BA of .412 over 5 games!
💪 Being Gritty and powering through the elements...coaches/parents included!
🤩 Getting us excited for the season! (other than the cons above 🤣)

🤞that this Ohio spring is good to us as we transition outdoors to Rolf Park! Field time is hard to come by in this area unless you book it 58436853 days in advance...we are so glad we booked in January and it was approved! 😵‍💫🤣

This past weekend we finished up with Pillar Athletic Performance and Sports Academies! Thank you Coach Mollie for your time, dedication, and training of our girls!!

The girls learned:
💪 Strength isn't defined by the amount of weight you can lift
🧘‍♀️ Stretching & how you fuel yourself DOES Matter
🦶 🧦 Working out in socks is actually preferred by 12/13 year olds!
🏃‍♀️ Footwork training doesn't equal being fast but it does make you more aware, coordinated, and methodical!
