✨The foundation of a healthy relationship with yourself and others is practicing self love

👉🏻Practicing self love, self care and self awareness is a key priority whether you’re single, dating or in a relationship
👉🏿Setting boundaries and understanding your limits, being able to have freedom of self expression and a sense of self is so important
👉Unfortunately a lot of us were not shown what healthy boundaries and what self love looks like in childhood
👉🏽And while we cannot change what happens to us, we can control how we respond and we can take radical responsibility for our own healing
👉🏻We cannot control others, but we can practice self love and change the way we interact with the world around us
✨When you heal yourself, you also heal the generations before you and the ones that come after🦋

✨✨✨So this is my take on the road to selfworth.
It all starts with selfawareness. If you are not aware of your needs and/or if you do not (yet) dare to open up to your needs and voice them...if your needs are barely or not met, by you (and/or someone else), (self)worth is difficult to attain. Once you're on the train of selfawareness, the other steps follow closely or are even already somewhat incorporated.
Selfawareness starts with tuning in and hearing what our body needs: its hungry, thirsty, sleepy or longing for safety, for example. Those are our basic needs. Selfcare starts right there too: how well do you take care of meeting those needs? How well do you feed yourself? Do you get enough sleep and exercise? Are you in a safe environment? Do we care, and do we deem ourselves worthy (!) enough to meet these basic needs with full awareness and love? If so, we can move up to becoming aware of deeper needs: being seen/heard, validation, connection, support, fullfilment, love etc. We need to learn to recognise these needs and also learn to allow ourselves to feel them, voice them and fullfill them (if possible). If you cringe, shrink, feel guilty or ashamed or go silent at the question 'What do you need?' - start there. Thats your entrypoint.
This is where selfacceptance and selflove come into the picture aswell. Again: do we find ourselves worthy enough of meeting our needs? Or, is there old trauma, invalidation, pain, hurt, guilt, shame, limiting beliefs, thoughts, patterns etc still at play? If so, we will need to address those. We need to make space for what we crave and long for but never got. We need to voice what has been lacking and what has hurt us. We need to build up the belief that we are allowed to have needs, that our needs deserve attention and that it is ok to meet them and when possible to voice and fullfill them.
Selfworth is an accumulation of selfawareness, -care, -acceptance and -love. Its about stepping out of old limiting beliefs, hurt and trauma. Its about cancelling out that inner voice that says you are unworthy and you should keep your needs to yourself. Its about radical selflove ♥️🦋🚀🌏✨ Posted • ♡

✨✨✨How high do you vibe?
It’s easy to forget about the aspects of ourselves beyond the physical body...
💡But you are energy. And energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred
👉🏻So how are the things you’re engaging in and consuming transferring energy to you?
✨Part of the human experience is to experience a range of emotions
✖️It’s not “bad” to experience anger, but instead of holding on to the anger, can you transmute it into a higher vibration emotion?
✨Can you recognize where it comes from, what triggered it and then clear it?
💙We’re emotional beings, and FEELING is a good thing
👉🏻Too often we label emotions as “good or bad”, but really it’s just your body’s way of telling you something
🧐Can you listen? Can you become unattached to the emotion itself and be introspective about what it’s telling you?
✨This is consciousness. This is being aware. This is healing.
✨Notice how certain people, places, information, thoughts and what you consume make you feel
✨✨✨You’ll start to notice how your energy is affected, and then you can become more aware and choose differently
