I’m frequently asked, “Colleen, why do you do what you do?” The answer is simple, I want to help those who feel trapped within their own bodies, just as I once did.
Having been sexually abused in childhood, I developed a natural gift for caring for others in crisis or those who have been hurt. After 24 years on my own healing journey, I find immense fulfilment in giving back to those who need to feel heard in a safe space.
Life is too short to live in misery. How long, how much, and how often are you willing to live as you are? What will this bring you? A life of regrets, continuous low self-esteem, and a lack of confidence perhaps? All of these bring no joy to your life whatsoever.
So whether you have been sexually abused, suffered with PTSD, having some current challenges or simply want to get out of your own way in life, perhaps this post has landed in your feed at the right time.

Ladies, this is your invitation to slow down ✋
As a busy Mum of 2 myself I recognise how full on life can be for us women.
We can totally lose who we are within the hustle and bustle of life ...
Even when we aren't 'doing anything' our constant busy mind can still be thinking of all those things going on...
Are the kids ok...
What's for dinner...
I really need to sort that letter out...
I do hope Sarah feels ok today...

Us women rarely press the 'off switch' do we 🙄
That's why at your Yoga Power class it's all about helping you to let go for a while.
It's about slowing down so you can re connect to your body and to your true self.
Some yoga classes are intense and fast.
That's not Yoga Power.
You'll be giving yourself time to be still and press the stop button on the constant murmuring and stress we experience.
It's a chance to allow some peace and calm to flow through you as you move mindfully through the exercises to the calming music.
And maybe, you'll even drop into a feeling of utter bliss and 'nothingness' as we end the practise with a guided meditation 🧘🏻♀️
