Working on a Mandala flow this week. This one is definitely working my brain too. 🤓 The word mandala itself simply means "circle" in Sanskrit. In this flow we begin at the top of the mat and flow to a set sequence reaching a middle point that then allows us to back out of that same sequence to the back of the mat facing the opposite direction, then repeat beginning at the back of the mat with same foot you started on to the top of the mat, making a circle if you will, beginning on one foot and ending with the other. Then repeat beginning with the side you ended on/opposite sides. See..working your brain 🧠🧐. We’ll be working on this all week so join me on your mats! I did an amazing exercise with Cassie DeFrees, RYT this week to uncover my dharma code...the desire to be who you truly are. Can I just tell you how freeing it feels to know that I know who I am and that I am exactly who I was created to be and I am living in my soul’s purpose?! 🙏🏼

My dharma code:
“Cultivating a lifetime of dreams, blooming from inspiration, breathing love into family and home. Building strong relationships with a giving spirit. Joyfully thriving, finding freedom in the cross, connecting in empowered purpose.”

What’s so cool, is I wrote this out of my own mind and heart without even realizing it. I know that sounds strange and it is hard to explain, but was so enlightening as I went through each step.

I am nearing the end of week two of my February online pop up classes. I am teaching a beginner focused Hatha class tomorrow, this Saturday at 9am. Message me to sign up. See attached flyer for more info. All my online classes are currently donation based.

A little practice after the practice in the sauna 😅 lastnight after power yoga. Svarga Dvijasana, or Bird of Paradise. Dvija means “twice born” and Svarga means “paradise” or “heaven.” 🕊🤍✝️🧘🏻‍♀️

Working on back bends today. This is honestly the first time I have actually ever gotten in to camel ...Ustrasana. 🐪 I have lots of work to do but happy with my progress. My back is just isn’t that bendy. (Played with while trying to make the video smaller and came across this fun “anime” ish filter. My daughter will appreciate that ☺️)
