Registration is now open for a day-long retreat at Asissi Heights Spirituality Center on Setting Compassionate Boundaries.
In this interactive retreat, participants will explore the art of setting compassionate boundaries to enhance their relationships and well-being. Through engaging activities and reflective discussions, attendees will learn how to communicate their needs effectively while respecting others' perspectives. We'll cover techniques for recognizing personal limits, expressing boundaries with empathy, and handling boundary crossings with grace. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the tools to create healthier, more respectful interactions in both personal and professional contexts.

Registration is $35, retreat is 9am-2pm on Saturday September 28.

Profile of a Changemaker.
Meet Susan Carter. Susan is passionate about the journey to wholeness, transforming workplaces through conscious leadership, and creating healing environments. She is the administrative director at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt where she has participated in shared strategic leadership and overseen operations since 2009. Her previous professional experiences include coordinator for the Middle Tennessee Infant Mortality Reduction Initiative, development officer in major gift development at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and program manager at the Nashville Child Advocacy Center.

Susan served on the Board of the Academic Consortium for Integrative Medicine and Health, the Community Advisory Council for the Osher Center at the University of Cincinnati and is currently on the Steering Committee of the Osher Collaborative for Integrative Health.

She enjoys the ocean, time with friends, reading, live music and theater. She a certified Reiki Master and is currently pursuing in a certificate in spiritual direction/companionship.

Susan is committed to helping bring forth a world that works for everyone; in which each is able to explore and express their true nature without fear of judgment, violence, or alienation, within the context of loving-kindness and doing no harm. She believes that this can be achieved through cultivating wholeness and fostering connection and true belonging.

Meet Angie Petersen (). Angie is a realtor with in Little Falls, MN. She has four beautiful children and is married to her longtime love, Andy. In her every day life she is helping people find the homes of their dreams while also always being willing to support and mentor fellow realtors. At home, she is teaching and guiding her kids and helping them grow to be all they want to be in partnership with her husband. And if that wasn't enough positive impact on the world, she's also incredibly involved her community and her church.

Among the boards and organizations Angie serves with or has in the past include 100 Women Who Care of Morrison County, Junior Achievement of Morrison County, Yellow Ribbon Network of Morrison County, Morrison County Area Foundation, Habitat for Humanity of Morrison County, Little Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, Randall Area Business Group, Lincoln Lakes Area Business Association, Randall JVL Baseball, , and Little Falls Area Young Professionals! And we are probably forgetting a few! No surpise she has been recognized in the past as a Volunteer of the Year.

Angie's faith is incredibly important to her as evidence by her deep involvement with her local church, Holy Family Parish - Little Falls. She recently spoke at her church about her own prayer journey and the many different ways that can look for individuals. Committed to supporting other's in their professional development, she also serves on the Agent Leadership Council with Keller Williams Realty Professionals as is always willing to get together with her friends to talk through the challenges of having a full life.

Angie believes deeply in caring for her community and doing her part to make the world a nicer, kinder place for all. We are happy to have you in the Changemaker Collective with us, Angie Petersen with Keller Williams Realty Professionals!
