As the summer series ended last weekend at teesside, I`d like to share some of my favourite moments, I`ve made some awesome friends and had loads of fun both on and off the track, I`d like to thank all my sponsors for helping me this year, without you it wouldn`t of been possible.

I cant wait to do it all again next year, ill be doing plenty of winter testing too so I get to see my karting family all year round

Teesside R8 race report. With a damp start and a gloomy day ahead of us it looked like it could rain at any point. But the weather held off and we finally got an almost dry final. James drove fantastically all day, with a couple of novices on track and a couple of rapid Iame karts too, this gave james lots to think about, he had some very well conducted overtakes whilst being overtaken by the Iame's. James held his lines and managed 5th out of a grid of 8 C50's in the final, this has been a great weekend and draws an end to the summer series at teesside.

Another brilliant weekend at Cumbria Kart Racing Club, Rowrah a very wet couple of days for practise and race day. But non the less James has tried his best as always and its wonderful to see how much he enjoys it hes got some fab friends all doing what there love.

Round 7 race report, this weekend we ventured to teesside. we knew it would be a wet one, and we got lucky with the weather. only 1 heat in the rain but every session saw poor conditions, a greasy warmup, damp 1st heat, damp patches on heat 2, raining with standing water on heat 3 and a wet final. but despite these every changing conditions james drove well today. we finished 7th and finished with a smile, he`s loved his new chassis and got to grips with it on teesside`s faster track, managed to keep his lap times consistant and keep it pointing in the right direction (most of the time). were back at rowrah in 2 weeks and cant wait to be back out already.

With the next round of teesside's sprint series on tomorrow, we decided to give the new kart a proper setup. Corner weighted with and without driver, calculated the CG with driver and added ballast to suit teesside's weight limits, checked the steering alignment and sorted all the tyres out so we know what are the best wets, hopefully we won't need them

We entered the IKR race at Cumbria Kart Racing Club, Rowrah we thought this would be a good shake down before Teesside in a couple of weeks.

James got to grips very quickly with his new chassis, he managed to smash his pb and bag 5th in class at a very busy track mixed with comer and Iame. This has really shown the difference in chassis and hopefully will lead to being more competive. Well done James 👏 💙

Another trip over to Rowrah, I've been getting faster laps every session on practise day.

Unfortunately on race day in wet conditions the track proved to quiete slippery qnd gave me abit of a challenge.

Overall had a fab weekend , learnt alot and still managed to walk away with 6th.

Finished a fantastic weekend at Rowrah. Even though the weather was against us on race day.

James made fantastic progress learning a new track alot different to what hes used to.

Hes gone and bagged his first trophy 🏆 which he's over the moon with even if it was for 7th overall , we're SUPER proud of him 👏 🥳

Well last weekend my dad had a go at karting in the biggest race of the season, the British 24H at teesside, so I gave him my support and guidance as race director, unfortunately the race was stopped due to appalling weather after 18 hour 45 minutes, but his team did really well for there first 24H and plans are already in place to go again next year

Teesside R4&R5 race report,

What a cracking weekend with a very tough grid, in amongst the best bambino drivers in the country with great weather and records being broken James has performed fantastically and showed massive improvements. Every session he dropped time right up until the final where he was right on pace till the rain came 3 laps in. But his confidence never dropped. Yeah we span a couple of times and we clipped a couple of tyre walls but he just kept sending it. Weve taken almost 3 seconds of his PB and he got a massive smile on his face after each race.

We cant wait for the next one as we're making the trip to rowrah in 2 weeks to learn a new circuit.

Teesside round 3 race report. Sorry we've been a but quiet this weekend but it's been a busy one for us.
We've put together a basic camping setup in the van so we could make more of an event of each weekend and we've made a lot more friends at the track in doing so,
Practice was going well until I started tweaking things and then couldn't find the new groove so we returned to where we started and worked more on technique.
It was a huge grid for us with some of the fastest drivers in the country here, we knew there was a lot to learn. Unfortunately no massive improvement on lap times as we got stuck with some more novice drivers and James couldn't seem to find a line around or break away when he did
But we've had a great weekend and no issues so we'll be back out at the double header in July to have another go

With James really enjoying karting and spending a lot of time at Teesside, its safe to say we've all got the karting bug. One of our friends has organised a ladies kart race on Saturday the 23rd July @ 5pm. This is going to be great fun for Michelle, as she's normally on the side line shouting encouragement, it means James can now cheer her on. Some fantastic pictures from round 2 at teesside.were so proud of how he performed this weekend. He's really picked up the pace and starting to show consistency in his laps

Race report for round 2 at teesside,
After a promising qualifying yesterday and starting in 6th in heat 1, unfortunately the airbox came loose on the first lap and ruined the performance. James managed to keep it going and finish in 10.
Heat 2 we saw an improvement but couldn't quite keep hold of the pack.
Heat 3 was our best session after changing a couple of bits we saw an improvement with top end speed and moved up to 7th briefly before a slight misjudgement in hairpin 4 and we dropped to 9th at the finish.
Final, starting in 10th and the rain started just before the outlap just enough to make the track slippery and after several karts had a couple of spins before the grid, this was enough to dent his confidence. With a very Conservative couple of lap this let the pack break away. But the confidence grew and we still got a new PB.

We finished the day in 10th but collected some reasonable point for the championship and were currently running 5th overall

We've learnt alot this weekend and we'll carry in onto the next round in June

What a great day, James has shown a massive improvement in his lap times today and with lots of karts on track has had some great battles.
Unfortunately after quite a big shunt in 3rd practice he's was a little off again but brought it right back in qualifying and he's sat in 6th for race start tomorrow. Were really proud of him today and we can't wait to see what tomorrow brings

Last bit of kart prep done, got the engine back from VENOM RACE Engines this morning after a refresh with a new coil and solid clutch fitted. Me and James got it fitted tonight with a new chain and sprocket too. All ready for round 2 at teesside this weekend. Practice and qualifying on Saturday then race day Sunday. He's super excited as it's his 6th birthday on Sunday too, so we'll be having birthday cake at the track with his racing friends around lunchtime. If your there please pop along and say happy birthday and get a bit of cake

Seem as we're not racing this weekend it's time for a bit of maintenance, full check over, wash and get the engine sent to VENOM RACE Engines for a refresh. New chain and sprocket ordered a 1 rose joint replaced

We found the most perfectly shaped strawberry AAAANNND We’re nearly there!!! We’ll be opening our doors in Northallerton on Thursday at 10am for coffee, tea and other sweet treats. You get the chance to come and say “hi” meet some of our team, ask the chefs some questions and wander around a bit!

**quick note about parking if you’re driving into Northallerton, South parade is disc parking, you can grab a disc from the estate agents just across the road from us. Please, whatever you do, don’t park in Fir Court. It’s private and they keep sending us rude emails (even though we don’t park there) - and they’ll probably hurl abuse, or rotten vegetables at you**

Couple of awesome pics from teesside at the weekend

Weekend race report. Plenty of practice time on Saturday with qualifying on late Saturday afternoon, James wasn't in his usual groove, nevertheless he still had consistent times and started 6th on Sundays heat 1. After some poor luck for a competitor James moved up to 5th for the start of heats 2&3, in heat 3 he showed a real improvement setting a new PB and for the first half of the race he was well within the pack but unfortunately couldn't keep the pace and dropped back, in the final he showed the same pace and managed to make a few really nice overtakes and finished in 6th again. Were really pleased with how he's drove this weekend and has shown some real potential.
