We have new champions. Congratulations to the Liquorice Allsorts who defeated the Grey Nomads stopping them in their pursuit of a 3 peat.

This game was a tightly contested one right form the off. It was point for point in the first with some really nice scores on show but the Nomads took a 2 point lead into the break. Both teams had numerous chances to kick away into a big lead but neither could take them. So into the last 4 minutes we went, LA down by 3 points pushed up the field and grabbed a goal to equal the scores. Within a minute they scored another to go up by 3 and that's the way it finished.

Huge thanks to all the players this year for their great commitment. Its always great to see so many new and of course old faces down on a Tuesday night having a run around.

We hope to be bigger and better next year.

Results from a big night of Semi-Final actions at Hurst yesterday.

The Onion Bags versus the Grey Nomads got the nights action underway. A brilliant start from the Nomads shocked the Baggers in a way as they scored 3 early goals. The Baggers had some first half chances but they just couldn't find the back of the net. Both teams kicked some great points in the second half but with some late goals it will be the Nomads who will play in their 3rd Grand Final in a row.

The second game saw the top of the table Allsorts take on the Newtown Gangstas. Just like in the first game it was the Allsorts who got the early jump as they scored two early goals. LA took a handy 8 point lead into the second half and never looked back as they booked their place in the Grand Final.

So we're left with two!

Can the Nomads take home the chocolates again and be the first team to win 3 Championships in a row or will the Allsorts stop them and win their first?

Semi Final action takes place tonight as the Grey Nomads take on the Onion Bags and the Allsorts face Newtown.

2 cracking games ahead of us, all the action kicks off at 6:30.

So finals time is here for the Men's competition in 2025.

First up tomorrow we will see Spiderman 3 take on the Gangstas from Newtown. In a tight contest in the group stages it was Spiderman who took home the win so Newtown will be looking to avenge that defeat.

The second 1/4 final between the Nomads and the West boys is also shaping up to be a classic. The West boys will feel they let one slip away against the Nomads during the year so their confidence will be high tomorrow night.

Both the Allsorts and the Onion Bags await the winners from tomorrow night.

A big win in game 1 saw the Nomads jump into the top 2 for a half an hour anyway. The Icons never gave up as they made the Nomads would hard for their win.

In the second game, the Allsorts now knowing a win was needed to jump back into the top 2 needed to dig deep against the free flowing Gangstas. A late goal for the Allsorts saw them finally put the Gangstas away.

The final game seen the Spiderman boys take on the lads from the West. A win for either team would see them jump up the ladder but it was the Spiderman lads who came away with their 3rd win of the campaign.

A big final round of action locked in for tomorrow night.

The Icons will be looking to cause a huge upset against the Nomads but a win for the Nomads and results going their way could see them finish in the top two.

Game 2 sees the inform Gangstas come up against the Allsorts. The Newtown lads are out to make it 3 wins in a row but the Allsorts will hope to bounce back from their first defeat of the season last week.

The final game of the group stages sees the Geelong West Gaels take on Spiderman 3. A win for either team could see them jump up ladder positions so both teams will want to go into finals on a high.

Table toppers the Onion Bags have the week off.

Results from a big night at Hurst last Tuesday.

Once again the weather reminded the Irish of home as it was similar conditions to the Tuesday before.

Game 1 saw the big one as the Nomads took on the ladder leaders the Allsorts. The Nomads got off to great start as they kicked some great scores and kept the Allsorts at bay. The Allsorts got into their groove in the second but a goal for the Nomads midway through the second half proved vital, a couple of late Allsorts goals saw them cut the lead to 2 points buts that's how it finished.

Game 2 seen the Onion Bags come up against Spiderman 3. With the Allsorts losing, the Baggers knew a win would see them finish top after this round of play. The Baggers kicked some great points and some crucial goals at crucial stages of the game saw them run out winners by 5 points.

The local derby between Newtown and Geelong West rounded out the night. The young Newtown crew jumped out of the blocks early on and never looked back as they claimed their second win of the campaign and claimed third spot heading into the final round.

Fixtures for a huge final round of games will go out tomorrow night.

3 huge games on the cards tomorrow night at Hurst. A win for the Allsorts over the Nomads in game 1 will see them finish in the top 2.

An Onion Bags win over the Spiderman boys will also see them cement a place in the top 2.

A Geelong West v Newtown match up will see out the night, a win for either team and other results going their way could see them jump up to 4th.

The Icons will have the bye this week.

Results from what call only be called a very Irish night on Tuesday.

Game 1 saw the Baggers take on the West Gaels. The Gaels got off to a hot start but it was Onion Bags who got some vital goals in the first half. The Baggers kicked on in the second half to take a firm grip in the top 2.

The battle of the newcomers saw both the Icons and the Gangstas go in search of their first win of the year. It was an even first but a couple of late goals put the Newtown lads in control going into the second half. The Icons gave it their all in the second half but just couldn't find the goals to get back into the game.

The final game saw the Allsorts come up against the Spiderman 3 boys. The Allsorts took control of the game very early on and never looked back after that. The Allsorts looking good to finish in the top 2.
