I grew up with bbq’ing and I thought I could cook meat as succulent as can be.

To my surprise, when I got my own meater thermometer, my meat cooking went to another level completely!

Do YOURSELF this favour. Navigate to your screen time and then see how you can start shifting that time down to as low as possible.

It takes 10minutes to plan your food for the next day.

Plan what you are going to eat on the run.

Plan what you are going to order at that restaurant.

Plan the food you are eating with your family.

The truth is we don’t GET more time, we just shift the priorities from where we are currently spending time to the new thing.

Screens can be a great helper or a huge detriment.

Frasier is a tech guy - super busy - family man.

Before: no clue what to eat, or how to eat for his goals.

Not doing any weight training (only endless miles of running per week).

Underrating then bingeing - typical yoyo er!

After: got him on track with his cals. Keeping it simple and sustainable.

Training nailed. Efficient and goal oriented.

Busy head chef - insane hours - very little time to prep food (the irony!) ✅

No problem.

Got to work the meals in (taste bud approved).

No cardboard, bland bulls**t for Jamie.

Hard work. Super efficient on gym time.

Not 90 min sessions, 5-6 times per week.

Not starving on stupidly low cals for months on end.

Sure he was hungry from time to time.

If you’re expecting to feel “full” all day when losing fat/weight


We need to reset expectations.

Fast.

Z’s stance on chugging a beer
?

Drink the damn beer.

The amount of stress/anxiety/energy required to cut these little ‘vices’ from your life entirely


Can massively outweigh just allowing them into your weekly/monthly routine.

Of course if you drink like a fu***ng degenerate every day/afternoon/night


Then that’s a problem.

Before you get triggered
 I was that guy.

Boozing since before Lockdown.

1-2 beers a night.

And wine. Sparkly, red, white, rosé.

Sometimes all 4/5 in a night.

Look that s**t up in any study you like - the answers won’t be what you want to hear.

Fortunately for me
 I have the tools in my kit to beat the demons.

Now I drink maybe 1 beer a week
 plus the occasional glass of red with a steak.

(And a whiskey with a cigar - cause I’m cool as F**k! Haha).

Point is this


If you allow a little bit of what you fancy into your regimen, the chances you’ll stick this thing long-term goes up by a bagillion %

No idea on the actual stats, but trust me, you’re more likely to stick to it.

So đŸ„ƒ to the occasional Beer!

Here’s the truth

Despite going to the gym consistently

Despite being sensible with food

Despite being pretty clued up in general

Some people never get the results they want

Lots of people even hire personal trainers

And work with them for years

And still never get there

Not with us

Dereck hopped in knowing he was doing what he needed to

But it wasn’t quite working the way he wanted, as fast as he wanted

And he was starting to get frustrated and motivated

He had a good level of activity

Martin set a goal of being ‘Fit at 50’

He was fed up when he jumped in.

Frustrated with the lack of progress he’d seen from doing things on his own.

Almost ready to throw in the towel


Accept the “inevitable” 


Or so he thought.

Happily he threw caution to the wind and trusted the process.

We took our time and started where he was at in terms of his fitness/strength.

No need to rush.

Plus we had a few niggling injuries to work around.

So far it’s going pretty well.

Sometimes we go slow to go fast.

More Triple A approved results for Client X â€ïžâ€đŸ”„

The story of client X involves showing up 3 x Weekly in the gym.

Even when he didn’t feel like it.

It involves meticulous attention to detail outside of it.

Tracking the important things (in this case).

Allowing for a certain amount of leeway.

A tiny bit.

It involved high level accountability.

Calling him out when needed.

Didn’t need much of that.

It wasn’t that he was way off the mark before hopping in to the process.

In truth, he wasn’t.

But he had some gaps in the knowledge and application in order to get in the shape he wanted.

And more importantly


STAY THERE.

That’s where we come in.

Sure we can whip almost any bloke into shape in 16 weeks or so (depending on how fast they want to do it).

You’ll have seen many transformation pics we’re sure.

But what about 12 months after those shredded pics were taken??

What about 24 months


5 years?

Whats your take on booze Triple A!!?

Look, too much booze when you are trying to get into shape is a no go.

You can prep and plan for it, work it in the cals
 but then who needs 6pints fri &sat night (what ya running from?)

Boozing is like swimming against the tide. Eventually the tide wins.

I’d always suggest to not just drink out of boredom, change the habit to something more positive. (You’d be surprised when you start inviting people for a quick wander & a pint how willing they are)

Keep the beer for a special occasion.

The mrs and I have a tradition: 1 beer at our fave watering hole every sunday evening.

Makes the beer that much better!

To the new, Scotty 2.0.

No more energy slumps.

Energy of a Duracell Bunny for 15 hrs a day.

Better shape than his early twenties.

Wife loving the new bod.

Confidence through the roof.

The list is endless.

We applied some simple nutrition principles so Scotty could still enjoy a beer or two on the Weekend.

Still chow down on the sticky ribs from Deliveroo.

We essentially saved him about 4 hours of wasted effort in the gym each week too.
