I grew up with bbqâing and I thought I could cook meat as succulent as can be.
To my surprise, when I got my own meater thermometer, my meat cooking went to another level completely!

Of course if you drink like a fu***ng degenerate every day/afternoon/nightâŠ

Before you get triggered⊠I was that guy.
Boozing since before Lockdown.
1-2 beers a night.
And wine. Sparkly, red, white, rosé.
Sometimes all 4/5 in a night.
Look that s**t up in any study you like - the answers wonât be what you want to hear.
Fortunately for me⊠I have the tools in my kit to beat the demons.
Now I drink maybe 1 beer a week⊠plus the occasional glass of red with a steak.
(And a whiskey with a cigar - cause Iâm cool as F**k! Haha).

If you allow a little bit of what you fancy into your regimen, the chances youâll stick this thing long-term goes up by a bagillion %
No idea on the actual stats, but trust me, youâre more likely to stick to it.

Look, too much booze when you are trying to get into shape is a no go.
You can prep and plan for it, work it in the cals⊠but then who needs 6pints fri &sat night (what ya running from?)
Boozing is like swimming against the tide. Eventually the tide wins.
Iâd always suggest to not just drink out of boredom, change the habit to something more positive. (Youâd be surprised when you start inviting people for a quick wander & a pint how willing they are)
Keep the beer for a special occasion.
The mrs and I have a tradition: 1 beer at our fave watering hole every sunday evening.
Makes the beer that much better!
