As Steve said last night, hopefully the 3rd times a charm and this is the last time he’s upside down. A lot of rearend damage from the hit to the wall first. He was making moves and refused to start last in the feature after having the worst pill to start the night!
We will see what the week brings and keep folks posted….
Steve Kania Racing #76
Dirt Super Late Model team located out of Erie, PA. Home track: Eriez Speedway
Steve didn’t have a good heat….unfortunately a bad racing deal ended with him on his lid. He’s ok and there is definitely some damage that needs to be assessed.

Not a bad night for the #76 machine!
We started on the pole of our heat race and were able to lead every lap, bringing home the heat race win.
The redraw lined us up 5th for the feature, and we battled hard throughout the race. When the checkered flag flew, we came home with a solid 6th-place finish.
There’s always room to improve, but we’ll take the positives, learn from the rest, and get after it again next week. Thanks to everyone who supports our team!

What a night for Steve at the Andy Kania Memorial!
The fans got an incredible tribute to Andy when Steve rolled out the throwback Tiger car that perfectly matched the memorial shirts. The best part? Steve and Nikki had no idea what the other was planning. Steve had the throwback wrap in the works while Nikki was designing the shirts, and somehow it all came together like it was planned from the start. A huge shoutout goes to Ryan at P1 Design for bringing the vision to life and absolutely nailing the look!
On the track, Steve drew a 50 pill to kick off the night, making him the final qualifier. He went on to qualify 10th fastest in his group before lining up 5th in his heat race. A strong run to 3rd place secured his transfer into the A-Main.
Starting 12th in the feature, Steve put together another solid performance, driving his way to a 6th place finish in one of the biggest races of the season.
The car looked incredible under the lights and out on the track.
Should the throwback Tiger wrap be saved for special events, or should Steve run it all season long? 🐯🏁

If you couldn’t make it, here is the surprise! Steve is running a TIGER THROWBACK in memory of his dad!
