TDA RULE UPDATE

The Tournament Directors Association held their TDA Summit at the end of June. One of the few changes that were made was the rule governing "Ante First" when the Big Blind doesn't have enough to cover both the Ante and the Big Blind.
The new rule is to "do whatever you want". The TDA recommended procedure is officially "Big Blind First".

The new TDA rules will be released at the end of September. I've verified the pending rule change with my friend Jeremy Smith, Tournament Director of MSPT.

In cases where the Big Blind doesn't have enough to cover both the Big Blind and the Ante, DeepStacks Poker will now follow the "Big Blind First" TDA recommended procedure effective this Sunday, August 4th.
