Laws Named All-Conference for Baseball - Knox College Athletics The Midwest Conference announced the baseball All-Conference teams on Thursday. The nine MWC baseball head coaches nominate and vote on all awards.

‘Coach Jimmy Isaacson Field.’ Galesburg considers naming field at H.T. Custer after legendary coach Galesburg aldermen on Monday will consider a resolution naming the baseball field at H.T. Custer Park in honor of the late Jim “Jimmy” Isaacson.

Student-Athlete Spotlight: Luke Mathieu - Knox College Athletics Luke Mathieu is a two-sport sophomore student-athlete on the men's soccer and baseball teams. In soccer he plays goalkeeper and in baseball he plays outfield.

Your Prairie Fire Performer of the week is Nicholas Nitti of baseball. In four games last week, Nicholas went 15 for 21 while also drawing 4 walks. He drove in 10 runs and scored 5 runs to help the offense and earn him the MWC Baseball Position Player Performer of the Week.

Alumni Spotlight: Tristan Hannah - Knox College Athletics Tristan Hannah '20 is a former baseball player for Knox College. He majored in Psychology and minored in Africana Studies at Knox. Tristan is from Chicago, Illinois where he played for Lindblom Academy in high school. Since graduating from Knox, he has also coached for the Cubs Reviving Baseball in....

2024 Baseball Preview - Knox College Athletics GALESBURG, Illinois - The Prairie Fire baseball team begins their season on March 2 as they travel to Anderson University in Indiana for a three-game set.

📣⚾️ Development Coach, Drake Sykes

Drake is a new and exciting addition to our Sticks staff. Drake had a historic collegiate career at Knox College with many accolades including being selected for three All-American teams. He has since been inducted into the hall of fame for the college with school records for his career in all-time hits, total bases, stolen bases, on-base percentage, and career average.

Drake played professionally in Australia before coaching at Knox and William Penn University. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for the game with young baseball players.
