IT'S MONDAY!!!!! Each one of us is working hard to improve something (a grade, a project, a job, a sport, a business, a skill, a relationship, etc). The results never seem to come as quickly as we would like them to.
Still, we should realize that progress, whether slow or fast, is the key! As we begin this week, let's make sure that we keep moving in the right direction. HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Many of us have started new projects, new jobs, new school years, etc. It always seems like a grind when we get started on something big, but we gotta push through that initial 'overwhelmed' feeling so that we can reap the benefits of our hard work.

MONDAY MORNING ... It's time to hit the ground running!
As you go through this week, use negative criticism (from family, coworkers, etc.) as a sign that you are headed in the right direction. When you're trying to change your life or to create something of significance, people who are stuck in their own rut will go out of their way to undermine you. This is because you are doing something that they do not have the energy or the courage to do. Keep moving in the direction that you know is right for you! 'F' the haters ... and have a legendary week!

You've got goals to chase down - family goals, work goals, relationship goals, school goals, business goals, health & fitness goals, etc.
One of the best ways to achieve your health and fitness goals is to share the journey with someone else. The two of you can push each other out of your comfort zones and one of you will always be there to encourage the other one on a 'blah' day. Invite one of your reliable friends (or family members) to workout with you or to take a class with you.

There is no magic to getting fit. Our habits determine who we become. Shedding fat, gaining muscle, increasing endurance, becoming stronger ... all of that can be achieved by doing the RIGHT things day after day. Set up the right habits and your body WILL change for the better!
Our trunk or 'core' is made up of more than just our re**us abdominus (our six pack). There are a ton of muscles that act as rotators, flexors, and extensors of the trunk. We should be trying to engage as many of them as possible, on a regular basis. Crunches, sit ups, and hanging knee raises (alone) will not cut it.
Training muscles like the internal obliques, external obliques, and quadratus lumborum helps to prevent injury. Here are a number of rotational movements that you can use to strengthening your trunk.
