3rd NIR PRISAA Regional Games 2026 Official Medal Tally
The 3rd Negros Island Region (NIR) PRISAA Regional Games 2026 came to a thrilling close, capping off a week filled with grit, pride, and unforgettable performances.
As the dust settled, University of St. La Salle (USLS) once again stood tall above the rest, earning an impressive grand slam after claiming the championship crown for the third time in a row
University of Negros Occidental - Recoletos (UNO-R) followed close behind as they surged to an impressive first runner-up finish, while STI West Negros University (STIWNU) secured second runner-up honors after a strong and steady campaign.
USLS delivered nothing short of dominance, controlling the competition from start to finish with a staggering 376 total medals (167 gold, 124 silver, and 85 bronze). They left no doubt about their supremacy, building a massive lead that kept every other contender chasing from afar.
However, the real story of the games came from UNO-R: once considered among the lower-ranked teams in the previous medal tallies, they flipped the narrative with determination fueling every performance and climbed the ranks, finishing with 132 medals, including 69 golds, 37 silvers, and 26 bronzes.
STIWNU, on the other hand, proved that consistency wins battles. Quietly but relentlessly, they racked up medals across multiple events, finishing with 192 in total (55 gold, 50 silver, and 87 bronze).
In the end, the 2026 NIR PRISAA Regional Games was more than just a competition; it was a stage for rising challengers, enduring champions, and the unbreakable spirit of student-athletes.
