Look out to the world through your heart, soul and mind NOT by the misdeeds or misgivings of others.

I had the pleasure, just recently, of being heart stricken by another's misdeeds. I was amazed by how upset I was but then I realized that no matter how horrible their actions and how little support I had from others my life was mine and should not in anyway be determined by what another does or doesn't do.

I love my life. I am grateful towards how i live life and who I am. I am happy beyond measure that I can distinguish what another does is between them and them and never was about me.

Never allow the misgivings or misdeeds of another to determine YOU. Continue to show up with you being you

If you workout at home and limited on workout equipment consider getting a 2x6/8 feet piece of wood. Then wrap a yoga mat around it and staple the backside. This can be used as an incline/decline and a flat bench.

Just place one side on something sturdy for an incline/decline bench or two sturdy/solid items like milk crates for a flat bench.

How many times have you already tried to follow what others do? This approach will have you here this same time next year 📆 with the same goals as you have today.
Trying to follow what others do is the biggest mistake in the health and fitness industry.

"How to Achieve Your New Years 🎊Resolutions/Goals without writing✍️ any of them down!!" 🎯

👉As we head into the New Year most people set goals and most people fail them.

Years ago I started realizing goal setting sets us up for failure. That is in the beginning. In the beginning of anything new there are so so so many things to look at
and try to gain control of;

👎change in your diet,
👎meal prepping, cooking, weighing.....
👎counting calories,
👎schedule changes; wake up early, bed early 👀
👎and so much more.

👉THE PRESSURE IS ON!!!!

When one of those things go south we feel like ☠️☠️☠️we are losing control and failing. Once again old thoughts, "I can't do this" appear.

So, I say QUIT🛑 👀🎯setting goals, in the beginning of anything new.

❓What do you do instead?

Take one, two or three (no more than three) things you can do today. Heck just going to the grocery 🛒store and purchasing a few different foods🐟🍀🥕 is a chore when you're not sure abt what to buy (Do you read food labels) and your not really into the foods you are buying, etc. Rather than start a full blown diet ask yourself when you are getting ready to eat what would be the best food choices for you at that time.... or schedule if you like.
Instead of a full blown workout schedule ask yourself each day when would be a good time to workout for 5-10 minutes. Do what you know... even if it's just walking.

I say this because we want to feel successful not as a failure. By taking little steps we feel that success. It is this success that will have us coming back feeling more confident with a feeling of, "I Can" versus "I Can't".

Some people say have your "why" in place. I say your why on paper doesn't matter because in your heart you know why. Often times its hard to write down such deep feelings anyway... especially in the beginning.

There are many reasons why I believe goal setting doesn't work and that goal setting is a TRAP!!!! Success is what you're looking for so take one step 👣 forward... and then the next 👣 and then the next 👣 and then the next 👣. With each step forward your goals become clearer and in fact change.
If you want to ✍️simply start a journal. Write about how you're feeling about your small steps👣. Get to know you...
This is how success begins not about ✍️ what you'd like to achieve. Let's just act.... move forward. As you move forward the success of your goals will unfold 🚀.

PS The whole time im writing this I kept thinking about what it means to be healthy. Healthy means good habits. Right? The problem is this: "if we can't get to first base those good habits aren't going to happen. Goal setting pushes us to ignore the most valuable aspect of success....." DOING!!!

Thats my two cents. That's what I do and I've achieved every single goal and more. That's what I teach in the Academy and the success rate of women in the Academy are 98% and rising...

BUT... just because this is what I do doesn't mean it's what you should do. The copy above is written to open up your thoughts to other means of achieving success. ❤️💕

While at my friends house prepping for the celebration I heard one sad song after another and the tears began to flow.

I think I hid them pretty well since I was in the other room wrapping presents🎀. I couldn’t help but think it was a while since I had a good cry abt those who I love and miss more than anything.

But, I was ready. It had been awhile since I let the gates down and allowed myself to cry.

It’s hard to grieve when it seems like everyone is happy during the holidays.

If you’re grieving right now I want you to know you’re not alone.

Whether you’re:

😭 Grieving someone who has passed
😭 Grieving someone who is no longer a part of your life
😭 Grieving difficult family drama
😭 Grieving the what-ifs of your future

I hope that you:

❤️ Give yourself the space to feel your grief
❤️ Sit with it
❤️ Refrain from judging and

and, know that even though the past has it’s story you can create your future anyway you want

and, that you’re never alone despite the loneliness you may be feeling
