Big congratulations to the newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Campbell! What an absolutely beautiful wedding. It was truly an honor to be a part of it.

It was great seeing my buddy Colton Campbell so happy and taking such a massive step in his life journey. I still remember those days working with you for 8 hours, clocking out, and heading straight down to the boat ramp with a 1988 Jon boat and a 9.9 Mariner, fishing the Susquehanna until 3 AM. Then there were the days of dyeing traps and making lures in a 10x10 shed in 100-degree heat. 😂 Man, we’ve come a long way!

I can’t wait to watch you guys grow together, build a life, and continue bringing each other joy and happiness for years to come. Wishing you both nothing but the best in this next chapter!

And I do apologize for getting “lost” around two ponds right around dusk during the reception. It’s hard to pass up a fantastic topwater bite at One Barn Farm! 😂🎣

What a great combination! These jigs are going to make an excellent addition to the Muddy Water Lures lineup. Coming soon to our www.muddywaterlures.com , customers will be able to pair their favorite MWL soft plastics with skirted jigs featuring perfectly coordinated colors.

One thing I’ve learned from starting and continuing to grow a bait business is that every little step feels like a massive challenge — but every step is rewarding.

Today, we received our first 55-gallon drum of plastisol.

To some, it may seem like a small step. For us, it represents countless days of grinding, working, reinvesting, and continuing to push Muddy Water Lures forward.

Being able to order our materials in bulk allows us to increase our production capabilities, fulfill larger orders more efficiently, and eliminate the constant struggle of bringing in bucket after bucket just to keep operations moving.

It’s another step toward building a better, more capable business — and ultimately, being able to better serve you.

Thank you to every single person who purchased a pack of Muddy Water Lures this year. Every order, every share, every recommendation, and every piece of feedback has helped us get to where we are today.

A few updates from Muddy Water Lures! 🎣

We’ve been making some changes around the website and getting things lined up as we continue preparing for the 2027 season.

📸 Updated Product Photos & Colors
We’ve updated several product photos and made some revisions to select colors. You’ll see some of the updated colors featured below this post.

🧰 New Tackle & Jig Heads
We’ve started adding select tackle and jig heads to the website. We’re currently carrying Wolf Spider Baits skirted jigs, and they’ll soon be releasing a line of micro jigs that will be added to the MWL website as soon as they’re available.

🚙 More Sticker Options
We’ve added a few more sticker options as well. We now offer stickers designed for the inside of car windows, along with high-strength vinyl stickers that can be used for a variety of applications.

👕 Seasonal Apparel Coming Soon
We’ll soon be separating our apparel into seasonal collections and beginning to release seasonal gear featuring new MWL logo designs. We’ll have options for Pro Staff, Affiliate Staff, and everyday MWL wear.

📅 2027 Expo Schedule Updated
Our full 2027 Expo schedule has been updated on the website, so you can see where we’ll be set up throughout the upcoming season.

🔧 Still Looking for a Local CNC Mold Maker
We’re still looking for someone local to the Mechanicsburg/south-central PA area who can help us reverse-engineer some of our existing aluminum molds and create duplicate molds, as well as potentially help with new designs.

If you know someone with CNC machining capabilities who may be interested in working with a small local lure manufacturer, please send them our way or have them contact me directly.
