*FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE LATE BROH*

FC Fassell wishes to announce the funeral arrangements for its fallen player, the late Joseph Broh alias JB, who passed away on June 19, 2017 after a protracted period of illness.

On Friday, July 7, 2017 at 6 O’clock post meridian, there will be a ‘Quiet Hour’ Event at the Abraham Roberts Funeral Parlor in Stephen Tolbert Estate.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 9 O’clock ante meridian, the body will be removed from the Abraham Roberts Funeral Parlor in Stephen Tolbert Estate and taken to the New Georgia Baptist Church, New Georgia Gulf, where funeral rites will be said beginning at 10 O’clock ante meridian, to be followed by interment at the Cemetery in Area F, Barnesville Estate.

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our player, Joseph Broh. The towering and talented defender died on June 19, 2017, after a protracted period of illnesses.

Today is a sad day for Liberian football for the loss of such an extraordinary and friendly character. Our condolences and sympathy go to the bereaved family.

‘JB’, as he was commonly called, joined Fassell in 2014 and was an outstanding contributor to the team’s Double Championship triumph that season. In 2015, Broh left Liberia to seek grainy pastures in Asia. After things didn’t materialize, JB returned home and rejoined the Soccer Missionaries during the 2016 league season.

The mortal remain of Broh has been taken to the Abraham Roberts Funeral Parlor in Stephen Tolbert Estate, awaiting Funeral rites.

The Soccer Missionary and Keitrace FC played to a goalless draw at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium. Fassell for the second time this season failed to reign over their Division one counterpart. The result from the first leg was a 1-all draw. Full details of the match to follow subsequently.
