And another season wrapped up! We’re so thrilled to have been at the Volleyball Ireland awards, a fantastic event hosted by the inspirational Emer O Neill a champion of sport for everyone ‘the same but different’ which resonates so well for our club, as our vision is ‘VOLLEYBALL FOR ALL, ALL FOR VOLLEYBALL’. It was a great event, thank you to all the staff for everything you do!! 👏👏 🙏 Our club goes from strength to strength having experienced exponential growth in the last 3 years with an amazing amount of junior and seniors teams. We are very proud of all our coaches, officials and teams, and it was a joy to hear our club name at the awards as the BMP Dogs collected their intermediate championship trophy under the guidance of coaches Gianni Massa and Jason Keane. We know we can be strong contenders for future titles across all our teams and activities as we build on very strong foundations to reach our potential ! We were also super proud of our assistant coach (juniors) Ciagan Davoren who picked up an All Star Award!! We’ve had past winners Grainne Culliton for referee of the year and we’ve previously won the Club Development Award. Our club has positioned itself as a major contributor to the future of volleyball with national standard qualified referees, former internationals players and very experienced qualified coaches, 3 National coach developers and contributors to the many VI commissions/committees! The Awards ceremony is a fantastic event to celebrate the success of all the volleyball family and for us its not about winning, (sometimes maybe 😉) it’s really about being the best we can be, creating the pathways for our players, coaches and officials to improve. WE ARE A CLUB, WE ARE ONE, WE ARE BALLYMUN! Thanks as always to all our supporters, parents, volunteers and believers!!

We are very excited to be a part of the current Tesco Ireland Community Fund based at OMNI Park Shopping Centre! We compete with 2 other community groups to get a share of the €2k fund, the highest number of tokens over the 12 weeks (weighed each week) the higher proportion of the fund we receive (we’re not that competitive but we do need funding to support our volunteer club, and ok we’d like to win too 😉). We need your support 🫵to help our club, please collect your tokens and encourage all your friends and family to do so! Please note to ask a staff member if you can’t find any tokens! Ballymun Patriots is a national award winning club recognised for the huge development of the youth programme and for inclusivity. We have 75 boys and girls active in our club with 4 junior teams competing in national leagues. We have 4 senior teams, equal number of boys/men and girls/women teams and a diverse mix of age, nationalities, levels and abilities, coming from within the local community and wider Dublin regions. Our coaches are mostly volunteers, and are highly experienced and qualified! We believe in a positive fun culture and helping all our players to reach their potential! We are so grateful to be a part of this important and valued initiative by Tesco! Our junior girls were delighted to receive a special visit from .vb88 the new Youth Development Director and U20 women’s coach at our training session. Graham observed our fabulous girls, the clubs progression and the talent coming through! Our passionate and committed coaches very much appreciate his insight and support! Inspiring the next generation! The excitement is building and we are looking forward to the Women’s U20 later this summer. Our girls will be sure to be there cheering on 🇮🇪 at what will be the most watched women’s sporting event in Ireland this year .ie .ie
