Mid Canterbury Hockey are looking for a keen group of umpires to help support the delivery of our Junior Extension Programme, as well as improve their understanding of the game which will allow them to progress within the officials space.

Hi everyone. Mid Canterbury Hockey need some helpers for a short time at 9:20-10am THIS SUNDAY morning!
The turf has recently had a clean and we are holding a working bee this Sunday morning to give it a final spruce up.
Please comment below if you can help - many hands make light work so we can all continue to enjoy the turf. If you can't help at this time but can help earlier or later please let us know.

If you have a photo of your amazing player please feel free to share it! It is so great to have a good number of kids involved in hockey at the moment, lets celebrate them!

A reminder that Saturday games (Fun Mini and kiwi Sticks) will be played this THURSDAY due to kings bday wknd.

🚙🛻 Parking update 🛻🚙

For those of our hockey whanau who park on Walnut Ave and walk across the domain to the turf, from 25th May - 28th June there will be roadworks removing then installing new kerbing and channel from Oak Grove to West Street (green line below) so the shoulder will be closed and parking will be very limited.

Hoodies are here! Your coaches will be in touch with you. Please bring $60kids/$65 adult sizes to your next game or training (whichever comes first). We DO have some spares. If you would like one please comment below with Name, Size and which team your child is in and ill be in touch.
SENIORS you will also be contacted shortly regarding collection. and we have spares in your sizes too.

Great game tonight 🥶. Excellent to hear coaches supporting their players with positive feedback and seeing the teams thrive!

Hoodies should be here by the end of the week all going well with the courier! Coaches/Managers will be in touch when they are here and ill bring them to a practice or game. Cash on pick up $60 kids sizing and $65 adult sizing. We may have some spares so once all ordered hoodies are allocated I will let people know what is available if they forgot to order etc.
