We are in full support of neurodiversity week🙌🏻
the worldwide week long event where individuals across the world acknowledges and celebrates the strengths of the people in the neurodiverse community! Regardless of specific labels, neurodiversity emphasises recognising and embracing diverse modes of thought 💭 🧠

We can acknowledge and appreciate the challenges people that are neurodiverse May have, but we also see the amazing talent they have and the way they excel in what they put their mind to and for us personally is truly inspiring💃✨

An amazing experience and honoured to share the stage with these talented individuals who gave very valuable insight into neurodiversity✨❤️

An AMAZING day at MOVE IT 2024 yesterday!!💃✨
Our teacher Chloe was invited and given the chance to share her knowledge and expertise about teaching neurodivergent children on the panel ‘Disrupting the stage: Nuerodivergent takes the spotlight’ at the discovery stage yesterday at Move it.

What is MOVE IT?🤔
MOVE IT is the world biggest dance and performing arts event. MOVE IT focuses on leading the way as the beating heart in the dance world, within the UK and beyond. We work together to create world-class content to celebrate and connect talent, performers, teachers and trade through their United passion and love for dance.

Wow what a show!
our Sen-sational stars truly shined on stage last night for their spring production!! So proud of their hard work and dedication during rehearsals and the show and their confidence for their first stage experience! Well done to each and every one of you you were all amazing and smashed it and we had a special treat for our students with a special visit from the Easter bunny who handed out their certificates and treats!!💃

💙 Meet the Teacher.. Millie! 💙

As well as our teacher Chloe, Millie recently received her Bachelors Degree in Performing Arts, adding to her Higher National Diploma qualification.

Millie has been dancing since the age of 6, training in styles such as ballet, tap, modern, hip hop and musical theatre, acting and singing. She assists in Musical Theatre classes weekly at her previous dance school.
She specialises in singing, acting, and dancing.

After completing her Bachelors Degree in Performing Arts, Chloe had the idea to go on and set up her own Dance school, Sen-sational. This being her dream for many years, Chloe opened the school in October 2023 and has high hopes for it to continue growing and achieving, creating a safe space for all students to be able to thrive.

Chloe has completed training, receiving her Level 2 and 3 diploma in Performing Arts, Higher national Diploma in Performing Arts and was awarded her Bachelors Degree in Performing Arts last year.Chloe specialises in Dancing and acting.

Today Sen-sational hosted a dance session for the adults at Live a Little. We had an amazing time and it was such a pleasure to see all the amazing moves and meeting you all, thank you for having us✨

We are planning to open specialised dance classes for Adults 18+with SEN!
Currently we are trying to determine the interest this would have in the local area so if you or anyone you know might be interested please leave a comment or message us for more details!

With classes starting back I would like to remind everyone there’s still plenty of space to join our Sen-Sational group.

What to expect in our classes?
• Workshops that include various styles of dance, educating the students on different cultures and techniques within dance

• Educational movement lessons. Allowing the children to explore emotion symbolism and movement to enable them to improve their understanding of emotions, how to convey them and use this within their dance.

• History of Dance technique. Workshops that delve into the history of famous dance practitioners and their signature moves.

What we will be offering?
• A safe inclusive environment where the children can express themselves freely whilst learning key dance skills.

• End of term performances to see your children’s progress.

• Soon to come monthly events for not only the children but individuals of all ages and expansion of our class location areas.
