What an incredible start to the season!

P1 in GT4 and P3 overall far exceeded our expectations🏆🏆

did a fantastic job preparing the car and team for our debut and to walk away with a Win shows us what’s possible!

Bal did an amazing job in the last stint driving in the wet on slicks and brining the car home safely with a 10 second lead🌟

Next up we have Snetterton in just under 2 weeks, can’t wait to get back in the hot seat😎

I’m super excited to announce that this year I will be racing in the with Bal Sidhu and in the Porsche Cayman GT4!

An incredible opportunity for myself to jump back into a full season of racing and I’m pleased it’s with a strong team and driver combination who I have worked with closely over the last 3 years👊🏼

Looking ahead to 2023👀

This has been a year of building new foundations and creating new opportunities for what is to come in the near future.

It’s looking exciting, but all still a work in progress. So far going to plan, but don’t plan on sitting back until it’s done.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so I thought it may be a good idea to explain what has been happening so far this year😅

If you haven’t already guessed I am not racing this season in any full championships, this was due to many factors, but as always the biggest one is budget in motorsport is difficult to find.

Although I haven’t made it out onto the track so far this season, I have been doing a lot of driver development coaching in both the GT5’s and GT4’s. It has been a blast so far developing some talented rookies, working on improving this seasons podium finishers and title contenders🏆

Being involved with the Team UK futures program has been really beneficial, making the most of the workshop days and interaction with the squad has been extremely resourceful👨🏼‍💻

I have continued to train to ensure I am conditioned for any opportunity that is thrown at me, I am prepared to hit the ground running whenever that is🏃🏼

The year is not over and I have still been on the hunt for more opportunities for next season and potentially later this year.

One thing is for certain, I will be back out on track soon😎

2021…

This time last year I was no where near in a position to be racing again, times were tough and the road to success looked narrow, but I was still determined enough to push through and I have now achieve what seemed to be the impossible.

This really has been a life changing year for me, i have come so far looking back on this past year and I can’t thank all of my family, friends and supporters enough for backing me even in the most difficult of times🧡

I can’t wait to see what 2022 brings and what challenges we will face. In the meantime take a look through some of my best moments from this year📸

Wow, I can finally say that I am the 2021 GINETTA GT5 CHAMPION‼️

If you know my story this means so much more to me than a big trophy at the end of the season, this win is souly dedicated to my dad who suddenly passed away early 2020. A week before he passed away I promised to him that he would see me become a champion again, unfortunately I could never make that happen, but I knew what I had to do.

A dream we chased together from the age of 6, he saw my every win and every loss, sacrificed his whole life in every way you could think to see me do what I love. This to me now is more than a sport or a passion, this is my life, something that wakes me up every day to put 100% into every aspect of life. I don’t just do this for me now, this is for my dad, my mum and my family who have supported me since day 1, that’s what really pushes me.

This season has been tougher than it has seemed, our greatest battles were off track in-between races not knowing if we could make the next race weekend financially, but giving myself no option but to win has brought us this far and we have not only made it onto the grid each weekend, we have also walked away with the championship title🙌🏼

I knew it was necessary for me to join Xentek Motorsport this season to have a chance of winning this championship. Last thing I want to say is thank you to all who have supported me throughout, it’s been a tough couple years, but we have gone and done it, so for those who stuck by knowing what was coming, thank you so much❤️

As this chapter of my career closes we have to see what is on the horizon of the next, knowing who I’ve got around me now gives me all the confidence I need to once again piece together another championship winning assault. See you all next year✌🏼

WE ARE GINETTA GT5 CHAMPIONS❗️

Josh Steed has provisionally secured the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge ‘GT5 Pro’ title 🏆

Josh has excelled this season, with 13 podium finishes in 16 races, including no less than eight wins!

We crossed the line P2 on track yesterday from p8, but got a 5 second penalty that dropped us to p4, then p1 got disqualified so we finished p3.
Starting P5 today and looking to be a wet race so hoping for an exciting race👊🏼

Not the ideal start to the weekend yesterday🙃

Qualifying we could only manage P6 for Race 1 + 2 , was super close up the front.

Race 1 we finished P4 in the end. Wasn’t a huge amount I could do from my point of view, so decided to just bag some points and bring it home ready for today👍🏼

Race 2 will be LIVE today on ITV 4 at 15:10, starting P6, let’s see what we can do🤘🏼

What a super Sunday that was😅

No matter what conditions were thrown at us, we came out on top and I can’t thank the team enough for all their hard work throughout the weekend👊🏼

A big well done to my team mate Mikey Doble for bringing it home P2 in the last race, his first podium and a well deserved one with an outstanding drive🔥

Some of the best races we have had this season for sure, and I can’t wait to do it all over again in 6 weeks time at Croft with the BTCC! In the meantime though, more hard work🤘🏼
