The 12th Man Club welcomed back Coach Bob Rose to the Updated Rose Stanfill Stadium at the October 18th game against Middlesboro.

We presented Coach Rose with a piece of history as a Thank You for his 25 years of coaching here at Williamsburg High School.

He received a piece of the historic goalpost which witnessed a program total of 496 wins from the years of 1946 to 2023. 12th Man Club and Jacket Nation say Thank You for your time , sacrifice and service to this community.

A touch of the old field can still be found at the new and improved Rose Stanfill Stadium. We were able to take pieces from the old goal post and create a small goal post. This mini replica is a way to represent our past. By “Past” we’re talking about all the players through the years to ever put on a helmet. All the legendary players, coaches, and volunteers. To remember all the great wins and bitter defeats, just all the wonderful memories that were made on that old grass field. We all have our own memories that we cherish from our time here at Williamsburg and that’s what this goal post represents.

When current and future Jackets head out of the locker room to take the field they can touch that goal post as a way to honor all the players that came before them and that helped build this program to what it is today.
