We did it... victory #8 + All Time wins + All Time consecutive wins with today's 🏆 So many lessons you taught me that have led to this moment, can't thank you enough for your leadership and for being a man that I could model after 🩶

Also want to wish Tom Raffio & Paul Kirsch a special Father's Day! Paul has done so much for this sport in the USA for so many years that he deserves a place in our sports Hall of Fame. He's done it with a smile on his face and passion to support each and every athlete he's come across. Congrats on racing up the "Hill" for #20 🙌🏽

Tom has also done a ton to uplift our sport and inspire many new and old runners with his events through Delta Dental, promoting fitness and a healthy lifestyle 🏃🏾‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️ 👏🏽

Great memories made with the family in the State where 🏃🏾‍♂️ first became a passion! Topped the trip off with a grade A day in the mountains for a quick race 👌🏽a repeat🏆 awesome Tiger Claw Ascent. Course was a little slicker this year + still brought the same lung bursting challenge 😤

WE did it! I didn't walk on that stage last night to be inducted into the Washington State Hall of Fame alone. So many folks from the very beginning of this dream were with me in spirit. A huge blessing that many of them were actually there in person as well.

This was by far the most emotional awards ceremony of my life. Friends and family flew from across the country to show love & support. I can't even begin to thank them enough for that, but even more for the memories they helped craft in my early years as a runner. To my teammates, Lakes CC, thank you for welcoming me to your squad with open arms. Thank you for not just opening your arms for the accolade of a great team but for being family many years after our HS days, outside of athletics.

Coach Clark & Coach Brinkhaus, thank you for introducing me to the sport the way you did. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I consider myself too blessed to have you guys in my life to this day. Both of these men have been an example of selfless support in their communities. They are major inspirations behind why I created my project to help my community 🖤 Thank you to my parents for the many life lessons I've learned and the dexterity you raised me to have. My wife, you've been my ride or die, day 1 and I can't thank you enough for riding with me from the beginning and always being willing to support me even if it means you have had to make sacrifices. I apologize if I missed anyone, but you know I will get to you personally, no doubt!

During some of the early years of my career, I used to feel like I deserved more. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. It was exhausting. I could blame it on racism, a lack of coverage in the early years for our sport or simply my own performance at times. I knew I had to change my mindset and chase greatness not because of clout or the attention it could bring, but because I truly love doing what I do within the sport. Passion unlocked a mindset that has led to a lifelong love for competing!

Pumped to know so many folks that I genuinely love and appreciate will be in attendance. A very special moment in my career. More on that after the party 🥳

Through the winter 🧊 and into Spring 🍃 we go! Preparing for a long season of racing. Training has been a blast, probably the most fun I've had my whole career. Have had a too much fun playing around in the new 👟 and really pumped to put them to the test this racing year! Building with some old & some new teammates 🖤
