One the Barbell Complexes from my leanDAD Program.

Complexes are a fast-paced form of weight training where you perform a sequence of back-to-back exercises without ever allowing the weight to hit the floor (or put the weight down)

Benefits:

This barbell complex consists of:

✅Back Squat x3
✅Overhead Press x3
✅Front Squat x3
✅Row x3
✅Romanian Deadlift x3

Repeat the following exercises 3-5 times before resting or letting go of the bar.

Take 2-3 minute rest and repeat for 2-3 sets.

To really hit the bicep, rotate the wrist at the top of the curl so the pinky finger rotates in towards the chest. This will give the bicep a little more contraction by working it in both of it's functions; elbow flexion and supination.

One secret to getting yourself in shape, is find something that you love to do. If you hate running, but love swimming, then quit forcing yourself to run, go swim!. Your success rate is much lower if you are doing something you just do not enjoy and obviously much higher if you are doing something that you do enjoy. I love jiu-jitsu and weight training, so that is what I do. I don't make running, something I have no desire to do for long periods my only option. Since I do what I love, I do it consistently which is what leads to progress. I earned my first stripe yesterday in jiu-jitsu, which was a goal and achievement. Just like someone finishing there first marathon who has decided running is what they enjoy. It is one small step but it makes me want to work even harder for my second stripe. The marathon runner will want to beat their time in there second marathon, making their running more important to them and give it more meaning. What do you like to do?
