SOUTH AFRICAN FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION AWARDS LAUNCHED

The awards,which recognizes the best and worst in the beautiful game in 2018-2019 season, for the first-time it will also ask the fans to vote on the best female South African player and the best manager.

The SAFSA, which has over 150.000 members across South Africa, will announce in two weeks time a partnership (sponsorship ) details. The said company was our preferred sponsor due to their commitment to reducing gambling-related harms, which will see it as the award's partner.

Josh Nocanda, Executive President of the SAFSA, said:"Everyone football fan has an opinion about who is the best so the SAFSA Awards, voted for by South African Football Fans, will provide the answers.

"We were delighted when this company approached us as we have for some time felt that it is essential to promote safe and responsible drinking/gambling behaviour in a game that is very heavy with gambling sponsorships. "
