💪 I celebrated a non-scale victory by using 8 pound weights through the entire Insane Weights workout! The last time I did this workout (about 2 months ago), I was only able to use 5 pound dumbbells (and maybe not even the entire time!).

I streamed Beachbody on Demand's "Shaun T Week" as soon as it was released in June, I I do not think I have EVER had 7 sweatier days in all my life (that's a long time!). I was so proud of making it through without dying or even puking ...lol 😜
Now...just about 2 months later, I am doing this insane week of workouts again! Two days in and I am able to keep up with these workouts much better than the first time. I know this is because the past 3 weeks of Shift Shop have given me a great conditioning and strength foundation which will help me achieve more physically and mentally. Now, I'm just kicking it up a bit 💦💪💦.
When you have doubt about whether you can achieve something in your life...put that doubt aside and just go for it!! Your greatest achievements will come from pushing your limits ❤

Who is READY to SHIFT their state of mind, and focus on themselves?!? I am certainly not perfect but I always try to move forward and be better than I was yesterday. I will never give up "all the chocolate" but I can make better food choices each day. After 4 C-sections, I'll never have great abs or wear a bikini, but I will try to be as strong and healthy as possible for my family. Can you relate??
We all will be needing to ditch the summer "lack of routine" and get back to business as the school year approaches. I'm so happy that I have spent the past 3 weeks working on my shift. I honestly had several rough months, I wasn't eating well or challenging myself with my workouts (except for ❤ Shaun Week ❤!).
I just completed a 21 day program which challenged me to get back on track both physically and mentally. I changed things up with my diet which forced me to get out of my comfort zone and try some new things.
Yes, I still had wine and celebrated my birthday (possibly more than once 😜), but I was conscious of how I was treating my body and of how this program worked. I'm happy to say that I lost 4.2 pounds, become leaner, and completely enjoyed the program over the last 3 weeks. These are my before and after front photos.

As my first 3 weeks of getting back on track and refocusing on my health are winding down, I realized some things were easier than I thought they would be!
Shift Shop not only challenged me physically and mentally, but it got me out of my comfort zone in terms of nutrition and food planning.
There were no grains in this program and by the third week, there were only a couple starches in the plan (think squash..lol). The program comes with a recipe book for ideas as well as meal plans and shopping list to help keep things simple. It was good to get out of my comfort zone, I didn't starve, and .....I learned to make spaghetti squash! I ate no bread, pasta, cereal, rice or quinoa for 3 weeks. To tell the truth, I don't really even miss them.

I have to admit....with 6 months of half-a$$ing my health journey, making excuses and feeling bad for myself, this 3 week program has certainly helped me get back on track!
My workouts have been very good and my nutrition has been better than it has been in months. I took a "cheat meal" of Chinese food this week, but didn't have noodles or rice. Instead I subbed it with spaghetti squash I prepped for the week. I also had some cake because I turned 43 on Wednesday! This Mamma is looking forward to being the best and most fit 43 year old, mom of 4 out there ❤

Yes.....come Saturday, after a couple of LATE nights at work.....I was on the Struggle 🚍 today!
The 2 Bigs seem to barely get along, the 2 Littles were acting up through 🏈 equipment distribution today. And no, I didn't feel like doing my workout, let alone 2!
Well, took a quick nap, drank my Energize, and just did it. No, it was NOT my best workout ever, and YES, I had to modify, but Strength 35 and Shift Core were finished! One week left!! I can already see and feel the benefits of this program. I can't wait until next Sunday!

You are a project that continuously requires nurturing and attention. You may not always be moving forward, but when you start moving "backward," it is important to recognize, to use the strength that is within you, and to get back on track.
For the majority of 2017, I have not been progressing on my journey, but this past week I decided to get my act together and strive to be as healthy as possible both mentally and physically.
I started a brand new workout and nutrition program and I have finished the first week with success that I'm truly proud of. The workouts were fun and I'm feeling "back on track" for the first time in a while.
