The end of the season banquets for the Junior and Senior Division will be held Monday, March 21st. The Junior banquet will be held at 5:30 and the Senior at 7:00 both at the Brayton Elementary School Cafeteria

Congratulations to the 5/6 and 7/8 North Adams girls travel teams on their championship wins this weekend at the Ed Szlats Memorial Tournament in Chicopee!!! Both teams went 5-0 on the weekend en route to finishing their 2015-2016 seasons as champs!! Congrats on your wins and on fantastic seasons all around. Can't wait for next year!!

Big shoutout to the Drury Lady Blue Devils on their return to the WMass Finals this weekend at the Cage!! Very proud of all our Whitney League Alumni for their great play so far this season! Best of luck girls, we know you can do it!!!

Good luck to the North Adams 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 Travel Teams this weekend in their tournaments!!! 3/4 will be playing in a tournament in Pittsfield while 5/6 and 7/8 host the Berkshire County Championship Tournament starting tonight with games being played at the Northern Berkshire YMCA and McCann High School over the course of the weekend. Play tough and have a great weekend girls!!!

Alison Felix led the way for Adams with a game high 17 points. Catryna Marsh added 4 points for Adams. Brooke Farnam and Jayden Johnson chipped in with 2 and 1 respecitively

Waubeeka was led by Kayla McGrath who scored 9 points. Madeline Nesbit chipped in with 5. Shaliyah Boucher added 4 points. Hannah Stack scored 2 points and Katie Booth scored 1

Senior Division Consolation Game

Mr. Tire defeats Radioshack 44-42

Tess Zoito and Emily Burdick led Mr. Tire with 11 and 10 points respectively. Olivia Witter-O'Neil had 8 points including the game winning basket with 6 seconds left in the game. Ellie Harnick chipped in 6 for Mr. Tire, while Alyse Koloc and Hannah Baker added 5 and 4.

For Radioshack, Grace Towler had 14 points. Caroline Cellana and Gabby Billetz scored 9 and 8 points. Dana Canales added 5 and Alyssa Russell and Molly Patenaude each added 2

It's that time of year again! Basketball season is just around the corner with registration starting for the NBYMCA Whitney Girls Basketball located at the Northern Berkshire YMCA. Coaches and division coordinators will be contacting players and parents soon to confirm registration dates. So tell your friends and come on down to register for what we hope will be an exciting, fun filled season of basketball!

The banquet for the Junior Division will be held on Monday, March 16th at 6:00 PM at the YMCA.

The Senior Division banquet will be held Wednesday, March 18th at 6:00 at the YMCA.

Coaches will be in contact with players and parents to make sure everyone knows.
