💚Would you like to run more naturally?

👟You know the stupid unnatural looking heavy-footed running style we have, that causes misalignment and injuries? It was developed TO ACCOMMODATE SHOES.

👟Yes. Shoes fist - stupid running style second

🦶If you want to try running in a more natural way please don't jump in too fast though. Your feet are essentially in a cast all day and muscles are now weak!

🦶 I recommend starting with a SMALL AMOUNT of jogging barefoot indoors and once your feet and ankles are ok, progress to wearing non-supportive shoes outside and slowly increase from there.

🚫 You CAN’T do a straight swap without the high risk of injury, which is why barefoot shoes get a bad rap.

💚 What is your pointless food weakness?

🍞Some foods are pretty pointless

🍞 Pointless foods are foods with little nutritional substance that you feel hungry after eating

🍞Big offenders are refined foods like pizza and white bread

🍞Also foods that cause acid reflux can be pointless because they can cause a gnawing hungry feeling after that makes you feel hungry again.

💚 Do you supplement or stick to food protein sources?

👍 Eating protein speeds up your metabolism

🥣If you want to supplement with protein powder-

👎 I DON’T recommend making smoothies instead of eating meals because solid food fills you up and reduces appetite.

👍 I DO recommend adding protein when you wouldn’t be eating
For example…
👉I mix my first coffee of the day with pea protein, unsweetened cocoa powder and sugar. It’s 160 calories and makes a thick, tasty chocolatey drink. This is a time I would not be eating a meal anyway.

💚 Are you a cardio gal?

👍 Cardio gives you more energy for everything else in life

🏃‍♀️ Good cardiovascular fitness gives you stamina to do more in your strength training workouts

🏃‍♀️HITT burns more calories BUT you're more likely to get injured.

🏃‍♀️ More injuries = less movement throughout the day

🏃‍♀️ Less movement = missed opportunity to burn more calories than you’d burn during your workout!

👍 Strength training creates muscle
👍 Muscle burns more calories than fat
