These are small group sessions that have open availability! Tuesday at 4 I have one slot and Tuesday at 7 I have two slots available!
If you have been wanting to try the reformer now is the chance!! No prior pilates experience necessary!! We will teach and guide you!! The 7pm session is a new group so a perfect time to join!! Cost is $20 a person!

Sunday mornings are for laughter, fun and hard work!!
Sunday mornings we have a class called Double Trouble with Lyndsay! It is designed for people who are familiar with pilates and the reformer, ready to take it up a notch and mix in some traditional group exercise as well!
The name double trouble comes from the idea of knowing half the class will be on the reformer and the other half could be on the floor, spring boards, bosu ball, with weights or any other fun thing Lyndsay decides to pull out!
We do circuits back and forth keeping a fast paced class with low impact! The fun and giggles that comes along is an extra bonus!!
While these pictures may look like the ladies are laying down on the job, they are working hard in side lying series both on the reformer and the floor!!

These ladies rocked it in class this week!! These ladies are my weekend warriors! They sneak a class in during the week and are always faithful to a class on the weekend as well! They wake up early, come for the torture I put them through and leave with smiles!
What they donât know is they always make my day! These ladies make me laugh, make me smile and genuinely lift up the rest of my weekend! I am so thankful for them and our weekend sessions! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸

I am super excited to announce I am fully certified in pilates! All apparatuses which means reformer, chair, Cadillac, barrels and mat!! (Did you know we had all that at our studio?!?)
It has taken me over a year! Over 450 logged hours of studio time practicing, observing and teaching!! Countless hours of studying for quizzes and tests!! And then finally submitting my hour long teaching practicum.
I am super thankful to my awesome colleagues, Andrea and Jan! To In Balance Pilates for taking me under their wing! For all my awesome clients and of course my super supportive family!
I am loving this journey and canât wait to see where it leads too! I can definitely see pilates is something that lasts your lifetime! My sauna is my happy place!! There is a very slight crispness to the air which automatically turns on my desire for the sauna! Nothing feels better then roasting for a good 20-30 minutes!!

Do you have a hobby you hate?
I do!! đââď¸đââď¸đââď¸
I do not enjoy cooking. But I do it often because I do enjoy eating home cooked meals. We have not eaten a meal out since May 1st. Which as you all know running around all over the place makes really tricky. But itâs a choice we make to save money and feel our best!
It also means I might have to spend a beautiful day inside cooking rather then outside. It kind of stinks. But I am also thankful how that makes my week easier, healthier and cheaper!
We often hear we choose our hard. I have thought about this the last couple times I have spent the day cooking. I HATE it, but I am choosing my hard, because I do love a lot of things it provides for us.
So choose your hard! Maybe itâs with meal prepping, maybe itâs with exercise, maybe itâs with something else. Think about your hard and think of what it will provide you and maybe, just maybe, it will allow that hard to be tolerable!
Do you love cooking and meal prepping?
Oooh Mat class is in for some fun tonight!! Our session at the moment focuses on balance, so what better then bringing in the bosu ball!! The whole class tonight will revolve around this wonderful piece of equipment.
Now from all my years of group exercise you either LOVE the bosu or HATE it with a passion!! Where do you fall?

I often have people who are interested in trying pilates, but finding times are hard! So I love to share when I have openings for the week!!

How does a mom find time for all her hobbies?
She crams them all in when the kids are at a half day camp!
The kids all went to a great camp at a nature preserve. It was 45 minutes away and was only the morning. So I packed my stuff and had a blast while they did!
I ran a hiking path around the lake! Biked some nearby roads (this was my only bummer, no bikes allowed on paths) then paddled the lake. All in time to head over and pick the girls up! It was a great morning!!

Another week, another salad!
A few nights a week I teach classes until 7/7:30 at night. I usually try and eat a snack before I head in about 3:30/4 but it never fails I am starving by the time I am done. If I have leftovers in the fridge great, but usually the quickest easiest thing is a big delicious salad!
Especially this time in the summer! Today i have lettuce and cucumbers from my own garden! Then I started pulling everything else I could out of the fridge! I dumped corn, tomatoes, onions, beet burger, blue cheese and even a nectarine onto this salad! It was delicious!
I have a loose mental recipe to always include a sweet fruit, decent cheese, nut or seed and if possible a main. My main is usually tofu or veggie burger!
Whatâs your favorite salad combo?
I decided to bring back weights last week! It felt great, sore muscles I havenât felt in a while.
But, then this week rolled around. I tried lifting yesterday, but I really wanted a Pilates workout to start my day!! So a jump board workout with a spine corrector stretch is what I did today and it felt SOOOO good!!
I need to find the perfect mix of weights, pilates and running. But until then I will just listen to what my body needs and hit them all when I am feeling it!!

This heat â¤ď¸
The girls played ALL day in this heat in a soccer tournament. I figured itâs my favorite weather, might as well join them!! So I headed out for a few miles! It wasnât pretty, but still felt good!!

Exercise is always more fun with friends or family!!
Itâs rare you will see me out by myself. Sometimes thatâs frustrating, but more often then not thatâs a blessing!!
It used to be I would plop my kiddos in the stroller and off we went. Fresh air for all of us, as we got older they transitioned to some in the stroller and some in bikes. But now, we are officially past the stroller days. Some days that can be hard, I miss having control of my time, my pace while they still enjoyed themselves. But also, most days now, thatâs wonderful. I have built in buddies! My three usually like to choose bikes but today my oldest wanted to rollerblade and she rocked it!
I love having their company, but I also love that they are watching and finding movement and exercise that they love!!
Do you workout with your kids?
Behind every class is at least an hour of prep!
Sure as instructors we show up and teach everything in an hour, but do you know how much behind the scenes go into that hour?!?
Beyond the countless hours of learning then comes the weekly hours of practice. As with everything the more you learn the better you are, but then you need to also practice what you have learned to make sure it sticks.
Next comes all the hours planning the perfect class for each individual group! Each group that comes to my class whether itâs reformer, mat or even butt busters, I strive to make sure class works to challenge everyone just right!
Now I know I canât please everyone and everybody but I will sure give it my best effort to do so.
So when you look at an instructor and think thatâs easy, they just have an hour to teach, actually think about the behind the scenes. I hope you notice all the heart, love and time poured into your hour class!
As well as know how hard it is when you cancel an hour before class and your instructor just put in 5 hours planning, practicing and perfecting the perfect class for your group combo!!
I surely love what I do and I am thankful for everyone who walks through my doors! I hope you all feel the time, heart and love poured into each class!! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
I have two opportunities for GROUP reformer sessions this week!!
This is a perfect opportunity to get in and give pilates a try!
A group session consists of 2-4 people and costs $20 a person.
Tomorrow Tuesday at 6pm I have an opening for two people and Saturday I have an opening for up to three more people!

We picked strawberries last week so we are eating them with everything!! On this salad I have the following:
Romaine lettuce
Strawberries (LOTS!)
Beet burger
Small cubes of cheddar cheese
Carrots
Homemade dressing (balsamic vinegar, coconut aminos, nutritional yeast and peanut butter)
I could eat big salads like this everyday! So flavorful, so delicious and they make me feel so good!!
