*Update*: *All games scheduled for tomorrow at Rosewood and 11th Avenues are cancelled.* Each team will receive one point. *Games in Southridge will proceed as planned.*

*Details*: Naveen received an email from "SLC Athletic Field Reservations" instructing not to use the fields today or tomorrow in SLC District 1. After receiving this, he attempted to contact the emergency numbers but was unable to reach anyone initially. He eventually got through to the emergency contact and the contact spoke with the District Manager. Despite the email only mentioning District 1, the emergency contact informed us that the situation at 11th Avenues is worse than at the Rosewood ground. Therefore, please refrain from using any ground in SLC, including Rosewood and 11th Avenues as per direction of the '*District Manager'.*

Paradise Biryani Pointe will generously host lunch for participants on May 25 and 26 for the Memorial Day Tournament. We are grateful for their support and are confident that the delicious meals will enhance the experience for everyone involved.

We are pleased to announce that *'Five Rivers'* has generously sponsored lodging for the players from the Boise Cricket Club during the Memorial Day Tournament. The team will be accommodated at the Holiday Inn for two nights.

The board has recently implemented a rule change allowing a player to switch teams even after participating in a game with another team in a T20 tournament.

Details:

If a player has participated in a game with Team A and wishes to transfer to Team B, this is permitted within the T20 tournament framework. However, there are specific conditions:

1. If a player transfers from Team A to Team B, they must participate in at least two games with Team B to be eligible for the playoffs.

2. The total number of games a player can participate in cannot exceed the total number of games each team plays in the tournament before the playoffs. For instance, if each team in a T20 tournament plays 10 games before the playoffs, a player may participate in a maximum of 10 games throughout the tournament. Under such conditions, a player could play one game for Team A and nine games for Team B.

PS: As such, one of the requirements to go to LA is to play in this tournament (and also another tournament in Boise in July) and come to practices.

UCA is excited to announce that we will be building a new cricket pitch at Southridge Park (North End). The county has kindly waived the ground rental cost for Southridge Park (North End) forever.

We are currently looking for contractors who can provide the service at the best rates. If UCA members know of any contractors, please share your references with us.
