Qualifying 1 (dry) - P3
Qualifying 2 (wet) - P1
Heat 1 - P3 - P7
Heat 2 - P7 - P5
Heat 3 - P5 - P5 - EXC
Final - P7 - P2 🥈

Nobody was lying when they said that you get ALL of the weather at Rowrah… ☔️☀️🌧️

With 2 days of dry practice followed by a very wet race day.. at a whole new track.. made for some interesting racing!

Heat 1 - P3 - P7 - Due to lock up on lap one, Jake went into the gravel trap, after getting out, he crossed the line P7.

Heat 2 - P7 - P5 - After only 2 laps in, Jake was signalling kart issues and wasn’t getting enough power to make any moves. He managed to finish the race and we later found that his rear sprocket had somehow stripped and bent teeth!

Heat 3 - P5 - P5 - DSQ
We made the call to change to slicks with only 3 minutes left on grid. Jake made up 3 places to P2 and was looking fast, however 3 laps from the end, the heavens opened.. slicks in the rain meant it was almost impossible to control and he slid off track going into the hairpin. This dropped him back to P5. After coming into scrutineering we was found to be 0.2kg underweight and we was excluded. During the rush to swap from wets to slicks, it completely slipped our minds about the weight! Rookie error, but unfortunately it happens!

Final - P7 - P2 🥈
Starting the final at the back and with the rain now chucking it down, Jake had absolutely nothing to loose. We know Jake is strong in the wet but we also knew he was going to have to work hard to move up the pack. Jake got his head down and made up 5 places in the final, crossing the line in P2 along with the fastest lap of the race 🔥

P2 all weekend for Jake!
Jake finished the final just a painstaking 0.070 seconds behind P1 alongside setting fastest lap of the race. With Jake and P1 running so close in the final, there was some battles faced but overall we are over the moon with Jake’s result 👊🏻

Congratulations to JJ and to Maddie for their podium finishes, and a huge shoutout to the rest of the R200 grid 🏁

Jake takes the win at Woodthorpe Round 4 🏁

We returned to Woodthorpe last weekend (27th/28th June) in the GX200. After the disaster with a crack in Jake’s old chassis, this was prime opportunity to test out the new one and make any necessary changes. And I think the results speak for themselves!

Heat 1 - P2-P1 🥇
Heat 2- P5-P2 🥈
Heat 3- P3-P2 🥈
Final- P2-P1 🏆

Congratulations to Charlie and to Louie for their podiums 🏆

A special mention to Charlie for some incredible racing this weekend, him and Jake were extremely close all weekend, with some fantastic battling in the final and a close one across the line with only 0.082 between them both!!
