How often should you be weightlifting for strength?
___
It depends. More than likely I only do weightlifting (clean, jerk, sn**ch, squat, pull etc) twice a week. Even when focusing on strength as a priority it may be three times a week but volume is likely similar.
You donโt need to lift every day to get strong.
Most of my training and most of my competitive clientโs training consists of around 75% aerobic work and volume accumulation of gymnastics and CF related patterns.
