There's no right or wrong way to grieve, only your way. 💖

Whether you're feeling every emotion or navigating through numbness, honor your process and know that you're not alone in your journey. 🌿

Grief is a very personal experience, and it's one that not everyone around you will understand. Friends and family may say comments that range from awkward to what feels like plain cruel, because they've haven't experienced a major loss, they are uncomfortable talking about grief or, they are having a very different experience with their grief than you.

However, by not feeling understood by others can leave you feeling lonely, and have difficulty opening up about your feelings. When really all as you want, is to feel supported and understood, connect with others who have experienced similar loss, and receive empathy without judgment.

If you need support, I have a one to one program that helps you to deal with the emotional pain of loss and gives you coping tools so you can put your life back together again. For more information click the link below.👇

Grief is a complex and deeply personal emotional response to loss, whether it's the death of a loved one, loss of a job, a pet, end of a significant relationship, or any other form of loss.

And there can be many factors including untreated anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, unresolved issues from the past that can lead to unhealthy coping mechanisms. There could be feelings of loss of safety, emptiness and trust that makes a loss feel unbearable and this inability to deal with the emotions can lead to those unhealthy behaviors.

t's time to break the cycle of unhealthy coping mechanisms. 🚫

Whether it's reaching for substances or isolating ourselves, let's support each other in finding healthier ways to navigate grief. Together, we can reclaim our power and resilience. 💪

Self-care isn't selfish—it's essential. 🌿

When we ignore our self-care we can end up relying on unhealthy coping mechanisms like: excessive drinking, prescription drugs, over shopping, overworking or exercising, or isolating ourselves and neglecting our physical health.🥺

Today, let's explore healthy coping mechanisms and prioritize our mental and emotional well-being. From meditation to journaling, what self-care practices bring you peace? Share below! 🌸

Whenever we lose something or somebody we love, it's important to take the time to fully feel the weight of what we are feeling. Sadly, our society doesn't encourage us to express our heartbreaking feelings so, we try to ignore and hide them.💔

However, we need to acknowledge the reality of what's happened, accept our own grief journey and feel the pain of loss. This in turn will help us to keep moving forward, develop a new identity and search for meaning.

If you need it, reach out for help and let others help you.🤗

Dive into the depths of your emotions and honor the unique path you're on. 💖

Remember, healing isn't linear, and every step forward is a victory. 🌟 Let's journey together with compassion and understanding. 💚

Let's talk about the pitfalls many of us encounter on our grief journey. 😉

From comparing your progress to others to rushing the healing process, isolating when you were never meant to suffer alone, letting guilt consume you when it's not your burden to bear, to judging yourself or others... the blame game isn't good, to stifling or avoiding your feelings... it just doesn't work!

it's time to recognize these missteps and pave a gentler path forward. 💕
