This variation of the Preacher Curl will have your Biceps begging for mercy, and here is the challenge, do NOT count the reps! No, I want YOU to burn it out, pick a lighter weight and slow down the negative to a 6-Count!! Yes I’m dead serious, don’t cheat either! Too many times I’ve seen people stop 3/4 down at the end of a curl, this is NOT giving you the results YOU WANT! Complete Full Range of Motion!👊
Here’s why I’m NOT giving you a number, curls are easily cheated to reach a number, you get hung up on a rep count and then you try to reach that number even with cheating and using other muscles to assist you. I have seen this often in the gym I work, beginner lifters start picking a high weight and then they struggle and start using there front anterior delts to assist in lifting, that is NOT a bicep exercise anymore! That’s a front shoulder injury waiting to happen, then you get hurt and you leave the gym frustrated👎
Go lighter than what you can handle on a bicep curl, slow down the deceleration with good form!! DO NOT COUNT! Burn out the muscle 🔥🔥🔥

Listen to the counts, particular the ECCENTRIC (NEGATIVE) part of this move, you come down for a 6 count! 👊 I know your probably wondering how it’s possible, it is possible!! First get good at pull-ups before you attempt this! (DISCLAIMER) you’ve been warned. Now assuming you have a good foundation on pull-ups start decreasing slower! Count down from 6 to 1! 💪 Concentric Motion is you pull-up for a 3 count! You guys I will warn you one more time, it took me years to use no assistance on decelerating with good form!!! So attempt these at your own risk, you can do it🙌

Most people associate bench with a chest press, decline and incline but this post is all about back and core! You can hit both muscle groups extremely effectively👇
Dumbbell Scap Trap -
Incline the bench and lean the arms down with weights in your hands and shrug like a shoulder shrug! This is more about the upper back traps as well as the posterior deltoids, the shrug motion is critical to activate all of the muscles!
Full Body Weighted Crunch -
This move is a killer!!! Bring forearm to quads with a lighter weight, trust me LIGHTER WEIGHT!!
Russian Twist - This is generally some with plates, but a dumbbell is just as effective! You want to twist side to side and squeeze the obliques! Again pick a light weight if you are using a bench because the C-Sit position is more intense on an elevated surface!
There you have it, an amazing routine to hit back and core using the bench. Time each exercise for a minute! There are no excuses if you have no bench, modify the Scap Trap by doing Dumbbell Reverse Flys and use a mat for the weighted core moves! 👊
