For everyone who’s been wondering where we’ve been, here’s the honest answer.
Over the past year, we’ve had to cancel more QURE Sports events than we wanted to, and I felt it was important to explain what’s been going on.
A lot changed behind the scenes. Our team went through some real life transitions — people moved out of town, some got married, others welcomed new kids. On top of that, some of our organizers needed to take a step back for a bit to help build other community work that needed support.
At a certain point, it became clear that pushing events forward the same way didn’t make sense. Rather than rushing things or lowering the standard, we decided to pause, reflect, and get clearer on how to build QURE Sports in a way that’s actually sustainable.
That time wasn’t a setback. It gave us space to learn, restructure, and be more intentional about what we’re building and how we’re building it.
QURE Sports has always been about more than just sports. It’s about bringing people together, building community, and creating spaces where we can grow — on and off the court.
We're excited about what’s ahead and confident in the direction we’re moving. The foundation is stronger, the vision is clearer, and we’re ready to move forward the right way. New events are coming soon, and we’re looking forward to building the Ummah with you.
