Ayurveda has a simple way of looking at the health of mind and body. The protective nature, the ability to move with ebb and flow of life, to resist a cold when everyone around is getting it, to stay calm when chaos is prevalent. Your natural "shock absorber". This is known as OJAS.
It is the lymphatic system, it resides in the nervous system, in the adrenals, in your joints, in the mind... OJAS.
We, typically, see all these scenarios as separate disorders/ difficulties when in actuality they all have a similar root cause. Next week, we will look at some effects of low ojas and ways to improve this level.
