Nothing in this world can ever prepare you for a headline that reads "Body found of missing young mother"! In your heart of hearts you pray it isn't so and nothing could ever prepare you for that overwhelming wash of emotion and heartbreak as the tragedy takes hold. Team New Zealand roller derby lost a beautiful soul today and our hearts go out to Nicki Noxious (Nicola Hedley), her family, her friends and her beautiful children. Not only did you play for New Zealand at the 2014 Roller Derby World Cup, you helped relentlessly behind the scenes helping the team get there. Your passion, your fun attitude and your toughness on the track will be sorely missed by all who knew you. Gone way too soon Noxious, may you rest in peace.
