Bruins banquet coming up. In a couple weeks!

Two Bruins wrapped up their season ar Prairie West golf Course in Mandan this week. This was the strongest wind these two have ever played in. As expected, the Bruins pushed through and had a great showing at the state tournament. Everyone is so proud of you and we applaud 👏 all of your hard work. We had dad's doing push-ups for pars, we had birdies, we had smiles, and we had fun! It was definitely a great day time to be a Bruin. Or as Brynn would say "It's a bad time to be a .... golf course" because they knew we were coming.

Reese, we want to say an extra special thank you for your time and dedication to the Bruins golf program over the years. You are a huge asset to our program! We can't wait to hear about your successes in the future!

Senior Showcase! The Bruins had one senior this season, Reese Aarestad! Her fun-loving attitude and infectious personality will truly be missed on the Bruins golf team! The Bruins had one girl finish in the top 10 yesterday at the EDC meet down in Wahpeton. Congratulations Brynn!! Your hard work is paying off! We are all so proud of you!

Yesterday was EDC day! The Bruins had a solid showing and were in contention the whole way for a trip to state. Unfortunately, the cards didn't fall in our favor this year, but the girls showed that they were hungry for more and are ready for a return trip to state next year as a team!

The Bruins will have 2 individuals attending the state meet at Prairie West in Mandan on Monday and Tueaday!

Thanks for a great season, Bruins! We will put in the work and be back again next fall!

Today was our last meet before EDC! In today's adventure's, the team shot their lowest round of the season!! Reese tied her best score ever, and Anna set a new personal record!! What an awesome day to be a Bruin! Give these ladies a huge congratulations! They earned it!

EDC on Monday and a lot of girls playing very good golf!

The Bruins were back in action today at the Fargo Country Club. Even though we were a bit short handed today, the girls fought hard and had some very good scores. The Bruins hope to get back to full strength soon as we prepare for our last regular season meet before the EDC tournament.

Today's round also saw Merill shoot her personal best score!! She loves FCC! She beat her previous best score by 3 strokes which was also shot at FCC.

Today's meet was an individual qualifier for the EDC. Let's get a huge congratulations to two of our Bruins! Reese and Brynn both qualified for the state tournament today! Check out some action shots from the season so far. Even though two Bruins qualified today, the team is still hungry for more! It's A Good Day To Be A Bruin!

Both Bruins golf teams traveled up to Grand Forks today for a couple of meets. The Varsity was at Kings Walk Golf Course, while the JV played at Lincoln Golf Course. While the pictures look nice, the teams battled wind gusts up to 30 mph. The Varsity team tied their best score of the year! What a great team showing today!

The Bruins were back in action yesterday at Edgewood Golf Course. The Bruins are ready to get back to work as they prepare for their next meet on Tuesday at Kings Walk Golf Course. It's a great day to be a Bruin!

The Varsity was in action again today at Grand Forks Country Club. This wraps up a very busy couple of weeks that saw the girls play 108 holes of golf in 11 days.

The girls battled some difficult conditions on Thursday and Friday at Bois De Sioux in Wahpeton. It was wet and windy and the girls played well and fought through the tough conditions. Both teams will be back in action on Monday. Varsity is in Grand Forks and the JV is in Hillsboro.

JV SCHEDULE UPDATE: The meet scheduled for Monday, August 19th has moved to Goose River Golf Course in Hillsboro, ND and begins at 9:00 AM. Bus leave time has been changed to 7:30 AM from South High School.

Fargo South Bruins Golf - Events Calendar

Day 2 of the East/West brought even more challenging conditions, but even better scores for the Bruins. The girls are steadily lowering scores and settling in for a great season. It has been a very busy first week of action. The Varsity travels to Wahpeton Thursday and Friday for another two day meet.

The Varsity was in Jamestown for the East/West Classic. The girls performed well and dropped scores substantially from their previous meet. Unfortunately, we did lose a bag of gold fish (no real goldfish were harmed during the meet).

The Bruins JV team was also in action today in Barnesville! They travel to Valley City on Tuesday for their next meet.
