🍂 Cozy November Moments at Home

There’s something special about this time of year: the crisp air, the golden light, and the comfort of familiar routines.

My mornings start with a chilly walk and my favorite little buddy by my side, both of us bundled up and ready to face the day. Back home, the house fills with the delicious smell of slow-braised short ribs simmering away, and suddenly everything feels warm again.

The kitchen becomes my favorite place — fresh vegetables chopped and ready, and the quiet joy of cooking something that brings everyone to the table.

Later, evening strolls under the soft glow of the moon and the golden trees remind me to slow down and savor these fleeting fall moments.

And when the sun shines again the next day, everything feels bright and full of promise — a gentle reminder that every season has its own rhythm and beauty.

I love seating in this room in the early morning and enjoy the gorgeous view and now the colors of the trees just become part of the fall decor inside. 🍂

We had the absolutely best time in Madrid. It was wonderful to revisit it almost 30 years later, when we were both then broke and backpacking. 😁
We enjoyed the crisp autumn weather, the friendly and welcoming people, and the fantastic art, architecture, and food.
We are looking forward to going back and exploring Spain by train with the boys next time.
