Today the Alamance Giants took the field in Clayton to square off against the Mets. Curtis Patterson took the bump and pitched 7 strong innings giving up 5 runs. The Giants bats were alive and well as we played 16 runs to come away with swim 16-7. Next week is the championship- going for 4 in a row!!

Paul Brumister cut up and diced the marlins today and only allowed 4 hits in 6 innings. The Giants offense was hot from top to bottom scoring 20 runs
Jeff Husen got the nod for the second game- his pinpoint accuracy along with some good hitting gave the Giants their 3rd championship in a row. In the Giants 4 game playoffs they only allowed 15 runs and scoring 64

After a slow start today the Giants settled down and came away with a 14-8 victory. Curtis Patterson pitched a complete gem. Everyone contributed to this win and next week the Giants will try to 3-peat.
Tomorrow afternoon the Giants will begin their second round of the playoffs at Carrboro High School against the Relarios. This will be a good game, good hitting and great defense from both teams. In the regular season the Giants were able to sweep them so this game should be interesting.
This past Sunday the Giants began their playoff run against the Dodgers. The Giants won 11-0 with Jeff Husen pitching a shut out. Next Sunday they will continue their run to a third consecutive title.
