This cowboy knows how to go fast. He is going for first place every time, and made a few trips to the stage this week after round wins. After his top notch performance at the finals, Tryan Knight is the 2026 All Around Cowboy.

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Consistency is key for this cowgirl. She walks away from the 2026 Montana state finals with her third all-around title. She joined us on stage after a round win in the pole bending this week. Aspen Swenson had an outstanding season and finals.

Along with all of her accomplishments in the arena, Aspen was elected at the 2026-2027 MHSRA Student President!

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Wacey Williams takes home the 2026 bull riding title. His points in the average helped bump him to the top of the leaderboard to claim the state title.

Joining Wacey at nationals is Andy Wagner, Rio Luger, and Cameron Beall.

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Two state champions are crowned in the team roping. Cooper Fisher and Tryan Knight snatched that title after a thrilling week of team roping. These boys won the first round and the average, making smooth consistent runs.

Also qualifying in the team roping is Garrett Dowdy and Gentre Coulter, Cooper McMillan and Jace Desaye, Gavin Begger and David Wagner. Dowdy and Coulter won the second round with the fastest time of the week and placed in the average.

These teams are no doubt strong competitors to represent Montana! Good luck boys!

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Abigail DeVos adds another state title to her resume, this time in the breakaway. She was the round one winner with the fastest time of the weekend. A second place finish in the average helped her claim the state title.

A tough set of competitors will join Abigail this summer. Aspen Swenson, Maizy Pulasky, and Paisley Verhelst are gearing up to compete in Nebraska.

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Pacen Buller does it again! He won the average, adding to his lead from the season and holding his spot at the top. Pacen is making his fourth trip to high school nationals after winning a second state title.

Joining Pacen is Blaise Bolich, Bryton Mikkelson, and Gage Mikkelson. Blaise put the heat on with a smoking 8 second run to win the short round. The Mikkelson twins made beautiful runs all weekend to place in the average as well.

These four will no doubt make a statement at Nationals. Good luck boys!

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Everly Sarrazin sweeped the goat tying, winning all three rounds and the average. She made textbook runs all week long and is the 2026 state champion goat tyer.

Also competing in the goat tying at nationals is Aspen Swenson, Josie Robb, and Raenee Mapston. These girls all made smooth runs to place in the average for the rodeo.

We are proud of the strong set of goat tyers headed to Lincoln this summer!

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Colton Haase takes home the saddle bronc riding championship this year. He was the season leader coming into the state finals and a win in the short round secured his name at the top.

Also competing in the saddle bronc this year will be Kael Smith, Kesler Harwood, and Trace Poppe. Kael and Kesler went one and two in the average, both winning a long round.

𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚒𝚘𝚗 🏆

Abigail DeVos had an outstanding week in Kalispell. She entered the state finals as the season leader; she added an average title and rounds out her high school career with a state title.

Abigail is joined by Isabella Moran, Havyn Vermandel, and Olivia Martell at the top of the leaderboard. These ladies are also the top four in the average on the week, proving how competitive they are.
