What a season this group is having!

Already crowned Division 1 League Champions, Sal’s U12s had another job to do, They need to book their place in the Challenge Cup Final.

Up against an undefeated Northern Wolves side, the team stepped up when it mattered and came away with a brilliant 3–1 WIN! 💪⚽

Sometimes soccer can be heartbreaking. Our U13s and U15s gave everything they had in their Challenge Cup Semi Finals, and while neither got the result they were hoping for, they can both walk away with their heads held high.

Our U13s left absolutely everything on the park, taking their game all the way through extra time and into penalties. In the cruellest way to finish a game, they fell just short, going down 6–5 on penalties.

Our U15s faced a strong Ingle Farm side and fought hard until the final whistle, with Ingle Farm taking the win 5–2.

There were plenty of disappointed faces at the final whistle, but these kids have given us plenty to be proud of this season. 🖤💛

Peter Edwards’ funeral will be held on Tuesday, 1 September at 2:00pm at Simplicity Funerals, 2–4 Waterloo Corner Road, Salisbury.

Following the service, a celebration of Peter’s life will be held at his favourite watering hole, The Midway Tavern, 212 Midway Road, Elizabeth Downs.

All who knew Peter are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. 🖤💛
