What a wonderful day we had at Garden Grove yesterday! It was the last show of the series and the girls did not disappoint.

For the first time ever all four of my riders were in the same divison. Making it a true “show and go” experience 🤣

First we had Maddy aboard Captain Morgan she came home with a 3rd, 5th, and 7th in the hopeful hunter 2ft against 9 other talented riders. She also pulled a 3rd in the classic (she was a fill in). Maddy and Captain Morgan were also Grand Champion overall for the series.

Next, we had Violet aboard Cosa Mas Linda. This was violets first show with us as well as little joes first ever horse show. To say we are proud is an understatement. Violet was an excellent pilot and gave little Joe all the guidance and encouragement to excel. They brought home 6th, 8th, and 8th.

Following we had Kat aboard Shezablazinmachine this pair came home with 4th, 7th, and 8th. Kat and Shezablazinmachine also brought home a Reserved Champion overall for the series. Shezablazinmachine also earned another Reserve Champion in the beginner hunters overall for the series.

Last but certainly not least, we had Clara aboard her Lord Theodore. This was their very first horse show together. We came home with some homework but they ended up bringing home a 5th, 7th and 8th.

I (believe) our sweet Emma (whose away at college) and her The Mighty Duc were third overall for the 2’6” hunters and our Lilly (who was on vacation) who pilots Prince Charming was also third overall for the short stirrup eq. (I’ll update this once official results come in 😊)

As always we are so proud of our riders, the parents, and our unicorn horses. Off to the next one 😉
