We’re delighted to welcome Evan Chard as a pathway player for the 26/27 season!
Evan joins the Sheffield Academy after gaining valuable experience across both NIHL 1 South and NIHL 2 South while still a junior. A talented forward with proven offensive ability, he has consistently contributed points at senior level and now makes the move up north to continue his development.
We’re excited to see Evan make an impact across both the junior and senior programmes this season!

We’re excited to welcome back Elliott Russan as a pathway player for the 26/27 season!
Having progressed through both the junior and senior programme over several seasons, Elliott returns with plenty of experience between the pipes.
Over the past two years he has gained valuable ice time across the junior ranks, the seniors and with the Sheffield Steeldogs, continuing his development at every opportunity.

We’re delighted to welcome Darren Tuuling as a pathway player for the upcoming season!
The 17 year old joins our U19s after gaining valuable NIHL 2 experience over the past two seasons. Having come through the Nottingham set up and represented England at junior level, Darren arrives with an impressive hockey background. We’re excited to see what he brings to our academy!

We’re delighted to welcome Riley Drew-Douglas to the Sheffield pathway for the 26/27 season.
Now eligible for senior hockey, Douglas is a determined player with brilliant attitude. After training with the seniors towards the end of last season, he has already shown his committment and eagerness to continue at the next level.
We’re excited for Douglas to make the step into senior hockey and continue his progression.

Joe returns after gaining valuable experience icing with the senior teams over the past two seasons, continuing to develop his game.

We are delighted to confirm the signing of pathway player, Albie Phillips.
Albie joins the U19s and senior pathway as a hardworking, determined defenceman who has consistently impressed throughout his junior career. Having regularly played up to U19 level, he has shown his ability to step up and make a positive impact.

We’re delighted to welcome Josh Minns to the Sheffield Academy for the 2026/2027 season, where he’ll join our U19s while also entering his third season of senior hockey.
Josh makes the move from the Telford set up, having gained valuable experience icing for both the U19s and the Telford Tigers 2.
