Recap of Sumter race weekend. Huge thanks goes out to Mark and Brett Dysart, Nick Fortune his father, Scott Peterson as they put long hours trying to get one of the two chaos cars ready for Scott to drive at Sumter. However all their efforts was not the result we wanted. No fault of anybody, waiting on parts as we were robbing Matilda to rebuild Kruella.
Well let’s get to racing. Remained at the race shop (Aka Clark Street Hawgs Chapel) as long as I could trying to take two cars to the track but was only able to load Maude i up p and we hit the road south.
Qualified 4 and pulled off as the motor was going south on us.
Congrats to Troy Van Allen on his first win of the season I know Steve Dunn was all over him trying to get his second Win of the season but he came up a tad short. It was great to see Izral Daniel’s back in his hot rod. He pull off a third place finish.
We will try to have all the car back together for this weekend at Rockfish speedway.

Recap from last night. With Matilda (10r) not wanting to cooperate, and Kruella (m22) still on the lift. I took Maude out to Rockfish.
Started 5th in the second heat and just wanted to make laps and not tear her up, and finished 4th, this pit us starting P8 in A main.
We got a good star on the green flag and after the 1st caution was sitting in 5th place where we would run the rest of the evening.
Huge shout out to Scott and Lois for coming to the track and helping out last night. If all goes well we hope to have Scott in Matilda at Sumter Apeedway next week as I will pilot Maude.
Make sure to go over to Thw Carolina Mod Lite FB page and give us a line and a follow.
To those lost on this fateful day, YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN
Well the season has started so has the s**t show I call being a car owner! Took three cars to the track and only raced one. JS Patterson jumped behind the wheel of Kruella and she lived up to her name. Scott took her into turn three at start of hot laps and the throttle hung wide open. She took him for a ride on the wall and cut his night short. He made a quick stop by the ambulance just to be checked out, he was ok.
I was coming in from my hot laps session when all this took place. Matilda felt good so was not going to make any changes for qualification.
RC jumped behind the wheel of Maude just to get some laps and to show people that she ran. Was just trying to sell her so we had room to work on the cars at the house 3 is too many.
After hot laps concluded we had to find 45 lbs for RCs lil ass and Maude. So he could make weight.
Mark and brett Dysart, Nick Fortune started looking at repair we could make on Kruella for hot laps but she was too damaged to repair at the track.
So it was down to RC and I to represent. He and I went out to qualify and my motor cut off on way to get white flag. Pulled her intro the pits and posted a 7th quick.
RC made his two laps and posted a P10, starting out side 3rd row in heat 1.
Heat races came and went for Matilda and I as RC made some laps and got more comfortable in the car. The crew was not able to get Matilda to fire again so that cut our night short.
As feature approached RC was feeling pretty good and he did not let us down as he patiently waited and made some great decisions and brought Maude home with a late pass at the flag to post a 6th place finish.
Want to thank Mark, Brett, Nick, Vince Scott,RC for all the help and support this past weekend. Hoping to get the chaos chassis’s ruu up making and make the show next weekend at rockfish.

Man ol man were the chaos chassis rolling the other night (We’d night). Scott jumped into Kruella and got a good commit in the seat and he was putting some great laps down.
We ran into a situation with Motor and after we were
Able to break her down this week end out team is in need of a little help.
I am not one to beg for assistance but I have put the club ahead of our team this year and if anybody would be willing to assist us in getting a motor to put in the m22 it would be greatly appreciated.
Again I am not the one to ask for help however we are getting down to crunch time and anything helps.
Thanks in advance.

IN YOUR HONOR: Today, Brig. Gen. Warner Ross, Tennessee’s Adjutant General, confirmed the identities of two Tennessee Army National Guard pilots killed Wednesday afternoon in a helicopter accident in Madison County, Alabama.
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Daniel Wadham of Joelton, who had 15 years of service, and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Danny Randolph of Murfreesboro, who had 13 years of service, were both killed when their UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crashed during a training flight near Highway 53 and Burwell Road in Huntsville. The Soldiers were assigned to A Company, 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion, from Nashville’s Berry Field Air National Guard Base.
“Words cannot express my sorrow for the loss of these two Tennessee National Guardsmen,” said Ross. “It is felt not only within the ranks of the Tennessee National Guard, but across our entire military community. We ask that Tennesseans continue to join us in prayer for these soldiers’ families amid this tragic loss.”
At the time of the accident, The Tennessee National Guard aircraft was approaching the Huntsville Executive Airport when the aircraft rapidly descended and impacted the ground. The Madison County Sherriff’s Department responded to the crash site and initially reported the death of the two crew members. No other service members or civilians were harmed in this incident.
Federal and state authorities are investigating the accident and the Tennessee National Guard will provide more information as details become available | 🇺🇸⚫️🔵⚫️🇺🇸

The Night of th Good the Bad and the Ugly!!!!
The good news is we finally got to to put some laps on the New Chaos chassis. Man let me tell you Bo Bass puts together one awesome chassis. Starting from scratch we went with the basic set up and we’re gonna make small adjustments so we will be ready for next year.
Qualified P5 out of 17 cars. Started heat race inside row 2. Still feeling out the car and was very pleased with the first racing conditions. Action Jackson and I had some racing each other and was taking mental notes on adjustments finished 4th
Started inside row 4 and was hanging mid pack still working with the car and got caught up in an accident and took a pretty good luck from Andrew who was driving the Mission 22 (this is the BAD) he got three of the wheels up off the ground and when he finally settled back down broke the right axel tube, the UGLY.
After the we got collected in the accident made a few more laps but pulled off the track about mid race as we lost the ability to shift and my throttle was sticking.
Feeling good about getting about 25 laps in at speed and feeling the car out. Again was giving an awesome CHAOS chassis and I know once we get motor and extrinsic a figured out we will making some noise.
Again want to thank Bo Bass at Chaos for putting together such an awesome chassis and we will make him proud as we continue to work through these vast speed in getting the motor issue worked out.
We got to run Matilda at speed last night that made for a good night.
Want to say a huge thanks to Tim White making the trip down from Delaware to race with us. Great run to pick up a second place.
Also congrats to Mason Ford on the win.
